Way to personally attack the poster... I'll be surprised if you aren't warned for that... attack the post not the poster.

Howard is only a fringe all-star player in his best games anyway. We might as well trade him for a borderline MVP candidate like Nene if the opportunity presents itself.

MitchellUK you are right so how about jj redick for lebron or kobe. i will even accept chris paul, as long as new orleans throws in a draft pick and cash considerations. lol

JJ for Lebron? Otis may as well just drop his trousers and bend over in front of Danny Ferry, since that deal is so weighted in favour of the Cavs.

I say trade howard to the Pistons for Kwame Brown and Walter Hermann. Come on now you know this is the best possible trade.

Nene would be a good fit, at PF. Nene / Turkoglu plust what change .... would be a starting place to consider.

What if somehow we traded

The poster is suggesting a hypothetical situation, he's not saying the Nuggets will or could make that trade, or anything that would make it a 'trade proposal'.

I think these types of threads are as pointless as the next, but I don't think it's that funny at all.

On the subject of Dwight's tradeability, I think it's a safe assumption that no one here would trade Dwight Howard for any single player in the NBA.

Having said that, with total and complete disregard to the salaries working out, are there any TWO players from a single team that we'd consider? Say...Nash and Amare? Kobe and Bynum? Paul and Chandler?

Obviously, this is just a fun hypothetical discussion.

Exactly, it was just a hypothetical question - not actually a trade idea.

Still pointless though, sure.

As good as he is, that's way overvaluing Dwight - you're talking arguably the best young 4 in the league in Amare, plus an ageing but still top quality point guard in Nash. Or you're talking the best shooting guard on the planet plus an exceptionally talented young center. As monstrous as Dwight is, you aren't going to get an MVP calibre guard plus a really talented big man for him.

Agreed Gerhalt, you're overvaluing Dwight.

We could probably net something on the avenue of Bosh and Calderon for Dwight halfway realistically.
