Bucks Game Tonite

Post#1 » by glennathan » Mon Nov 24, 2008 7:20 pm

I did not see a game thread yet so I figured I would start a discussion thread for the game. Anyone else here going to the game tonite? With the changes going on and injuries to both sides who do you think is more effected by this? Bucks losing Micheal Redd and Orlando losing Hedo, Wilks, and Bogans. Comments thoughts about tonite?

No one signed up to do the game thread for tonight's game.
It's $1 hotdog, soda, and popcorn night so we may get a decent turnout.

Anybody know what the deal is with Gortat missing last game? He wasn't in a suit behind the bench...

I think they activated Foyle because of the risk of Dwight getting in foul trouble against Yao, and his superior experience and man to man defense.

LOL. I like how you snuck him in there between hedo and bogans to act like we had a 3rd injury that matters.

Since Milwaukee isnt exactly stacked with bigs, does Richardson get the nod to be active over Foyle?

Should be a fun game, Ridnour and Sessions aren't exactly elite defenders, so look for Jameer to have a solid game. Hedo may have his hands full with Jefferson, so watch for Pietrus to be on him more often. Charlie V is the kind of 4 the Rashard likes to defend.

Another potential short night for Dwight, as Bogut isn't against flopping.

With Bogans out, this suddenly became a major coaching challenge for StM to work out a rotation for the 3. Pietrus and Lewis will need to be the subs for Turkoglu. So, then what >>> ???

Redick has his first major chance to prove NBA worth. Time to step up!

Gortat and Cook will need to fill in alongside Lewis. Time for the sub PFs to step up.

This is a big test for the Magic bench; a group not yet tested.

That said, with all of the Bucks injuries, Nelson and Pietrus will dominate. And Howard will go wild.

I expect a 20 point win.

My question: will Redick score 20? An interesting bench possibility.

Redick will go off tonight!

I am excited to see Dwight. I feel like I was the only one that noticed him school Yao in the post in the second half of the Rockets games. Everyone kept commenting how Yao owned Dwight, but that was only in the first quarter. The rest of the game Howard got the better of him! Anyway, he should be able to pull off the same moves against Bogut, with even more success. But you really never know with Dwight, do you........

Lewis better get out of this shooting funk. He isn't getting $$$ to miss shots. We already look foolish giving a non-superstar that contract, so at least make shots.

Jameer should continue his strong play tonight.

Isnt Ridnuar injured too though? Either way, dont sleep on Sessions... this dude is good, and is better than Ridnuar anyways....... I dont see them beating us though, our wing players should be too much for them all-around, and Dwight > Bogut.... this SHOULD (*keyword*) be an easy win. They basically have very little depth with all of their injuries. If we are an elite team, we should dust these guys, but it should be a fun game to watch.

Dwight has gotta watch Bogut. He is one of the major floppers in the league.

Well, the time has finally come for Redick to put up or shut up.

I think it'll be a little bit of both.

1) Movement 2) Application of fundamentals 3) Predictability

Hedo looks well rested.

Although it's hard to not look better than your last outing when your last outing was a 1-13 gem.
11/18/2017 - I have officially disowned Nikola Vucevic and branded him a loser.

- Skal Labissiere was my guy in 2016 pre-trade. Whoops, but I still believe.
- Malik Monk was my guy in 2017. Whoops(?)
- Mo Bamba was my guy in 2018. TBD.

Why was Dwight fronting Bogut? That isn't necessary.....

JJ missed first shot.

Jameer = awesome.
