tell me what you guys think... I don't really know That much about James or Armstrong, but I do know that James was once highly coveted and I saw a little bit of Armstrong and it seems he could be good next to dwight.

Funny things is... the Hornets could use some PG help right now.

So, what's that tell you about this trade?

seeing as i don't follow the hornets, i didn't know that, and mike james would be for an emergency backup, not a starter.

also, i would argue that mike james is better than anthony johnson right now.

I'd like to see Mike James here, he's fallen out of Hornets rotation which is sad cuz the Hornets don't have a true 2nd point PG, Devin Brown's playing the spot and hes not a true PG himself. But I'd def take Mike James I dont think I'd throw Battie in that trade, and right now we need Redick since Bogans is gone for a month or so.

I'd prefer us calling Golden State offering the TPE for Marcus Williams though..

I don't get it with Mike James....

He was such a stud a couple years ago being claimed as one of these diamonds in the rough... Went to Houston, then NO and now obscurity?

What happened?

Seriously... If I'd have looked at that trade without seeing his numbers. I would have okay'd it... And I actually LIKE JJ...

But seeing those numbers.... *sighs*

Yeah but he's playing behind CP3... It's tough to look like that stud he looked like behind CP3. I'd like to say he'd do better of in a change of scenery, but we are willing to toss JJ and Battie for James and Armstrong at this moment? Battie's been very solid off the bench. But yeah I like Mike James, and I'd hope a change of scenery would put him back on track. But than again, you never know..

i only put battie in there for salaries to match i dont want him gone by any means especially not now.. i understand what you mean about us needing JJ, but eh you know...

the thing about the numbers tho is that most of the time, all a player needs is a new chance, a new beginning, a new something and their numbers will go up, injuries will go away... it's like magic.

Hmm sounds like pun was intended lol..

but your right, a change of scenery could do us ok, it'd give us more oppurtunity to get Lee in there to develop him some more, I'd do JJ, Cook and Fran and/or Future 2nd for Mike James and Melvin Ely or hell even JJ and Cook for Mike James. But the thing is do we pursue a PG with the little stuff we got or do we pursue a PF,

thats a good question, i mean, i think that a PG is one of the toughest positions to get a solid player at. I believe that we could get a young PF or something for next to nothing basically and also, there are a lot of players in the league that can play the PF pretty well. All in all i think that shard is doing really well there... how many PFs can put up 20+ points on a given night next to an all-star at C?
