"Who the hell is that in our rookie's body?"

So thanks to EasternMagic, tonight is a great night to present young Courtney Lee with the nickname of Spider-Man. And why not, the guy keeps getting his hands on every ball on defense and is fearless on offense.

Profess your man love of this great kid and player. 8-)
Whether he'll get the chance to start or not, he's a spark plug when given minutes and is already a building block in our quest for a title.

I'm still not sure about his offense, but he's a force on D.

I think if you put McGee back then, he would get those blocks just as easily as Russell did. Russell's athleticism was well ahead of the players of his time, and that's about it.

All road wins are good wins.

As predicted, the lack of a bench doomed the Clippers. Another poor 4th, and another home loss.

He did a fantastic job defensively on baron tonight... that says a lot for a rookie. He will also be a great offensive player, it will just take some time. I think he will be our sixth man by next season if not our starting sg. Sorry Mik...

Spider-man, lol, hope the kid continue success, he looks pretty good so far, and his offense will come, we just need him to play this excellent defense...

At least all wasn't lost in the Ariza trade... if we didn't have Lee, and had Cook rotting on the bench I'd shoot myself

A total shock, but he is crazy good in 1-on-1 defense. He certainly knows how to play those passing lanes as well.

You know i was gonna say the opposite. Well I guess he did do a pretty good job on baron, he's got young legs you can tell. I like his offensive game. he takes his time with it and isn't concerned about passing it off to the right person. He went down to dwight immediately everytime dwight was in position, i like that.

Whats funnier: watching B.Cookie try to do a spin move then get thrown by a SG or watching JJ's face as he realizes Lee is taking his job and moving him to another team

Just a few weeks ago, I was disgusted when some of you regarded Lee as a bust. Courtney Lee may not be as athletic as some of the prospects in the previous draft, but he's a fundamentally sound player capable of contributing on both ends of the floor. He hasn't really shown flashes on the offensive end but based on what I saw during his collegiate career, he's a talented scorer. And I had no doubt that his game will translate into the NBA. Lee has been impressive when he got some minutes. His defense has been exceptional for a rookie and his offense has been solid. And on top of his basketball skills this kid has grit and guts. He's definitely a keeper (no homo).
