Yet they are ranked 6th in OPP PPG, 3rd in OPP FG% and 6th in OPP 3P%. :lol:

Man you could tell he hadn't seen a Magic game all year just from watching him talk about them.

the guys on around the horn gave us mad props though... but... again, i think it's better if espn keeps hatin on our team... it just feels better when we win

It's just a stereotype about us, I guess.

From just looking at us on paper, we can look pretty average defensively (with guys like Jameer, Hedo, Rashard... not necessarily amazing defenders), but we know better than them. We actually watch the games :wink:

I think the problem is that he simply isn't watching the Magic play, and just making a leap of faith: three point bombers = bad defense.

A lot of the time it'd be true, and he wouldn't get caught not knowing what the hell he's talking about. But this time...gotcha!

I enjoy both PTI and Around the Horn.

But in this case, yeah, Tony was wrong. Most people consider the Magic to have very good defense, and I think the stats would justify this point.

You nailed it...don't get to catch PTI often, but like both of them and I like the format. Even though sports is their job, they can't no everything....
