Dwight Howard on his FT struggles:

"I just think everybody needs to stop talking about it," Howard said. "There's more to life than free throws."

Dwight is good at propelling people. First Nate, then Shaq for MVP.

Shaq did all he could to salvage the weekend.

I love that D12 was too busy jawing at him to watch what he was doing.

He had a BIG smile on face a few plays later, laughing at himself for letting that happen.

The east had no bigs outside Garnett and Dwight. The West had Duncan, Yao, Amare, Shaq, Gasol.....ouch.

I guess Dwight only defends Yao well in all-star games. I have been waiting for Dwight to block one of Yaos turnaround jumpshots for years.

2009 NBA Slam Dunk Contest Practice

Check out Dwight Howard, Nate Robinson and J.R. Smith as they practice their dunks minutes before the NBA Slam Dunk Contest. In the end, Kryptonite was too much for Superman as New York Knicks guard Nate Robinson dethroned Orlando Magic center Dwight Howard to win the 2009 NBA Slam Dunk Contest.
