Not Another Trade Thread!

sorry guys but someone had to do it. So apparently Andre Miller might be on the trading block now... http://www.hoopsworld.com/HeadlineStori ... TORY_16439

Since he is an expiring contract and the sixers are looking for shooters I thought of this trade:

If the sixers would throw in a first rounder this trade is money for us. With Turk most likely opting out this summer, we might as well search for a deal that can help us now and in the future.

By doing this trade we get a very good distributing point guard who can give us a legitimate shot at a title this year. We also get a very good scoring combo guard in williams who is young and has great potential. If miller doesn't work out at least he is an expiring contract this summer and gives us some cap flexibility.

Thoughts?

He is expiring and you can just let him walk, especially if you believe Hedo will walk anyway, miller IMO is better for us as a team this season than hedo is moving into the playoffs

We can always do a S&T and let him "walk", but the difference would get something in return.

If we could get him for cheap, I wouldnt trade Hedo and Pietrus for him, He's an expiring contract.

If we can do Battie and Pietrus for Miller and Speights, I would be all for that. Sixers probably don't bite on this though.

IDK if it's really worth losing Pietrus then we have two sg's a rookie (who is capable to start and play well but still) and JJ. I think Pietrus is a big part of this team right now.

^ that would be nice I can see speights being a beast in the next couple years, would you do hedo and battie for miller speights?

I don't like Andre Miller, but I REALLY like Speights.

Ya I could see that, it's still questionable trading an expiring for an expiring but i suppose sign and trades could be done at the end of the season, or he could sign an extension and what not
