Van Genius

Post#1 » by thepritz » Wed Feb 18, 2009 7:42 am

Im sure this has been mentioned somewhere but I think it deserves its own post...

Did anyone notice the play SVG drew up for Redick to get that shot off? It was absolutely genius. Everyone in the building and watching on TV thought for sure that Shard was going to jack up a 3 before he dished it to a wide open Redick...

Of course Dwight went nuts, but SVG deserves credit for the W

Maybe Im crazy but at no point did I think Shard was going to shoot that 3. He wasnt in a good spot for the shot an he was well covered. Im hoping thats the play that will really get JJ going for good. SVG obviously is the man.

In the last week, the O-Sen ran a story termed "The curse of Billy." Is there any question that Stan-the-Man, Mr. Genius, has ruined all street-cred Billy-the-kid ever had???

Stan-the-Man, Mr. Genius is a perfect NBA coach. Given his relative youth, Stan-the-Man, Mr. Genius should replace the greats such as Larry and Phil.

SVG said it was originally drawn up for Lewis, and the 2nd player was Redick, but Mo u were correct, Lewis did not have a great angle even being wide open, but that was a great screen by Howard, that wat made it happen...

that was a double screen set by both Hedo and Dwight to free up JJ. The timing was spectacular. And it was so funny for Shard explaining to JJ how great of a pass it was.

there should have been a foul called on the shot as well, he got his legs clipped out from under him right after the shot. any other player and team gets that call and we go home early and not have to play OT.

Umm.... SVG said in post game conference, that Rashard was the first option for that play, he didn't have a good look and JJ got open.
