JASON WILLIAMS CANT PLAY FOR A YEAR

Jason Williams tried to be reinstated after retiring, But to be allowed to come back he needed approval from all 30 teams.
6 teams didnt want him to come back, so now he has to sit out a whole year before he can come back.

It is believed that Atlanta, Chicago, Houston, Minnesota, San Antonio and the Clippers were the teams who voted against letting Williams back in.

That makes no sense imo. Why would teams not want him to come back? Only one of those teams are contenders and its not like he had Jordan's ability to lock up a championship before the season even starts.

Well, the Clippers had a reason since he retired about a week after signing with them.

He only retired couple of months ago, now he want back? Should have thought of that before announcing retirement.

I don't like that a guy that is trying to come back can't play for a year i mean why would you really not want him to come back well i understand the clips but the other 5 i don't understand why not.

He "tried" to come back this year so that he is eligible for next year. This was agent strategy.

But the Magic will need a third-string PG next year Williams might be worth a look.
