Cavs Interested In 'Surprise' Free Agent? Who is this Guy?

Who is this surprise? And are we in the running for him?....We do have open roster spots. Did Otis know this? I heard Shaq mentioned.

My bet would be Gooden.

Last week there were rumbles last week about the Kings buying out Gooden.

That combined with his history in Cleveland, Ben Wallace's injury, and a guy like Gooden not generally the type to be bought out (surprise), it would seem to make sense.

Edit: I've never really cared for Gooden (and still don't much), but if he were bought out, I'd take him on the Magic.

i hear about this so called surprise free agent too, but the rumors say it's a forward. it's probably drew gooden as he's been wanting a buyout...

ahh you beat me to the gooden prediction. i agree with you, i didn't like him when he was a magic before (bad shot selection, just didn't seem too bright); but we need a guy that can rebound so i would welcome him. He's had a lot more experience since he left last time, so who knows... he may be a little better.

Some people on the Cavs board think its Allen Iverson lol. Detroit is better without him but no way they just cut him and let Cleveland sign him lol.

It is more likely to be Iverson than Sheed. Isn't this tampering? Talking about a guy clearly under contract?
