Gortat-JJ connection!

Post#1 » by MagicHolland » Thu Mar 19, 2009 12:57 am

I think this deserves it's own thread. It's been like 10-15 games since both these guys started to get consistent minutes and I'm loving it. But what really stands out to me is the way Redick and Gortat work together on the pick&roll. They're money like Stockton and Malone

Anyways I really like them to play this more when they're in there together!

They both are making their case to stay with this team.

one of the keys to being a championship team is depth and we have that specially once Jameer comes back.

Also depending on de resigning of both Hedo and Gortat off course.

Anyways I started this thread more about the feel Gortat and JJ have for playing the pick&roll together. I guess they've been getting very good at that during practice where they're both on the "bench team".

They have both been playing well together. JJ has alway seemed to have had a knack for entry passes, and is teaming up well with Gortat, making for actually a potentially strong 1-2 punch off the bench - especially going by their last few performances.

Pretty stoked about this... Just hope we can keep them both next year when Jameer returns.

They do a great job supporting each other on both ends of the court.

Enjoyable to watch.
