yea seriously cause 60 win teams are just good, but im done, good luck the rest of the year 8-)

No. 60 win teams have no chance at title according to Heat fans, even though the Magic are mirrored after a team that won 4 titles in the last 9 years so they can't possibly contend for one now. "No way I tell you", says the Heat fan with his fist straight up in the air as every one else laughs at him uncontrollably.

All road wins are good wins.

But a couple points:

The Magic covered a road win, yet again. Is this the safest bet in sports?

Orlando won the FG% battle and wan the game. But barely. Why. TOs. Orlando had 21 and Miami had 9. Those 12 TOs were only offset by six additional threes and six additional FTs.

Rafer Alston with 3 TOs, that's curious for him.

The Miami Heat are another set of announcers that are rediculously bias. Every single play by Miami is pretty much compared to something "brillaint" in their history or made to sound like a super human feat.

Well it must be the case with Wade. He's so good that it's impossible to guard him closely without fouling him ...

I counted THREE times that Courtney Lee got called for a foul against Dwayne Wade when he didn't leave his feet and had his arms straight up in the air. I guess Wade really does get any call he wants. It was pathetic. I felt bad for Lee.

and lol @ the 40 minute half-time ceremony. Jesus Christ, I couldn't be happier that we won the game for that reason alone. I love waiting so long while a team honors a complete bum.

Go Magic.

EDIT: Reading through the last few pages; LOL @ the Heat fan that says Dwight fouled Chalmers when he jumped straight up. Some fans are beyond clueless. Makes me hate the Heat even more. Heat fans sure are cocky when all their team has done is win a fluke championship while immediately falling into obscurity afterwards.

just had to quote Phil Jackson on this - "A team in my eyes is considered elite when it gets 40 wins in a season before it gets 20 loses."

It is just a shame we did that at least a month ago and the heat have still not cracked the 40 win mark. So who is the elite team between the two....??? (I will give you one hint, the name starts with Orlando)
Reporter - How do you feel about your first triple double?

Bo Outlaw - What is that some kind of cheeseburger?

I'd venture to say that every board reacts this way (not that I agree and I've complained about it before) to trolls and/or upset fans from other teams on our board.

Zo fan here but Yep - That was one loooooong ceremony. Way too excessive. If you want to do that kind of thing do it post game. The hating seeing the rings is tipping you hand though  .

i dont get the discussion? the heat are bearly making the playoffs with wade healthy, having the best season of his career. theres no comparison between orlando and miami this season.

and clee is better than beasely or chalmers.

does anyone know if there is anychance of lbj sitting out all or some of the game on friday?

I've got no problem with them having rings ... but they are so GAUDY. But that's not isolated to theirs - it's par for the course now a days in professional sports.

Welcome to the board! naaaa.. Why would he sit out? Not resting already on Friday, and especialy not against someone they may very likely see in the playoffs.. Expect playoff intensity
There will be life after Dwight.

Damn, some people did troll the Heat board pretty badly. I'm surprised.

Gives off a "we're not used to success" vibe, but hey, to each his own.

The Mourning tribute was long, but it was nice to watch. As for the Magic, nice road win against a good team.

That won't fly. the trash talking was going on long before the 45 minute ceremony.

people were actually watching this ceremony? I kept flipping back hoping the game would get started sometime. no way I would sit thru an opponent getting his number retired.

Only thing worse then trolling on another board is taking sides against the family on another board, perhaps trying to write off a MagicGM'ers opinions as based on an inferiority complex? Anywhoo, I wish we played the Heat once a week. I hope the rivalry grows more heated. We are the Choir Boys of the NBA, this franchise always has been. It's good to have somebody to bring out baser passions.

It's over until next season... le sigh.

I've always loved this quote, but man, we are nearly at the stage of 60 before 20 ... just makes me tingle.
