Knect's 1 definable trait is his scoring. I don't see an NBA team turning over their offense to a 23 year old rookie with average athleticism.

So then I turn to his ancillary traits. No real playmaking. Doesn't offer much by way of blocks or steals. Probably only projects as a league average shooter from three.

Trying to envision his role at the NBA level and having trouble. I'm thinking a Christian Braun type.

I don't know about "turning your offense over to him", but there's a place in the league for an athletic 6'6" 3-level scorer. Watching him game in and game out, his growth as a more rounded player has been pretty amazing. He likely will never be a '#1 option' type of player in the NBA, but he'll be a valuable asset as part of a rotation on a good team.

I see him more as a Kyle Kuzma or Corey Kispert type of player (pressure release valve scorer) with best case being Knicks’ Bogdanovic, which is a top 10 player in this draft and probably a mid-first-round pick in other drafts. However, he lacks that above-average shot creation against good defenders and playmaking on offense. While he's an average defender at best, most of the time he's likely below average to poor on defense.

He's more of a 3-level scorer and has better athleticism than any of those guys. His playmaking and defense have markedly improved this season. We'll see.

In regards to Knecht, I see Dan Majerle as the comparison. Obviously as a UT fan, I'm a little biased. The fact that I've watched him doesn't make me an expert either, but when I do watch him and I imagine him at the next level, I see Dan Majerle. Spot up shooter, who can get to the rim and score, probably a guy that'll get you 17-18 PPG while playing decent defense and mistake-free basketball at the next level. If we end up picking in the 14-17 range and he's there, I would love for us to draft him.

I just wish Knect had more ancillary traits that stood out. As an incoming 23 year old rookie, he's going to be asked to rebound, pass, block shots and steal the ball. None of which he does on a nightly basis in college.

Tyler Smith feels like a really good fit next to Embiid.

Haven’t watched many games from Knect but the discussion makes me think that his modern NBA comp is Bojan Bogdanovich. He’s a pretty solid example to show that a pure scorer with size & average defense is extremely valuable to any team.

Looks good based on my Tankathon and YouTube scouting. Potential stretch-4 of the future.

Anyone seen him play?

This dude has one of the cleanest shots in the draft. Explosive dunker. Built frame. 2.8 STL%. Yea, I’d see if we can turn him into a nice 3&D with a late pick or UDFA. Feels like a guy who can climb the boards with a nice combine though.

I've also only seen online stuff but his skillset and athleticism seems ideal.

Bobi Klintman also seems interesting. Less upside but probably more ready to contribute immediately.

It feels like EVERY player that came from the G-League Ignite has been a disappointment.

Tyler Smith reminds me a lot of Isaiah Todd. Same strengths and weaknesses. Good stretch four ability, but weak on the glass and a poor shotblocker.

Seeing a lot of older guys shooting at ridiculous clips. Jones is also generating a solid STL%. Looks like one of these microwave scorers a la Nick Young, JR Smith, etc.

Jones is an NBA player in my opinion. Whether or not he gets drafted is up for debate, but he's a solid guard who can really score.

Khaman Maluach had a visit to Kentucky on 2/13. Ivisic probably told him not to commit.

Reed Sheppard is a top three pick. If he comes back, he’s out of his mind. He has the killer mentality and the intangibles along with being one of the best shooters in the country. His rise to stardom is insane.

If the 76ers get a chance to draft this guy they should pass. 76ers will draft him and he will forget how to shoot. Guaranteed to happen.

Dont worry Sixers will pass. They will draft Zach Edey.
