Sixer Fan,

From your knowledge the only thing holding up a deal with Sixers and Golden State is the Biedrins/Jefferson dilemma? Otherwise both teams would be interested in that deal... as in, if the Sixers can find a third team to move R-Jeff to, then it's a done deal?

And did the Sixers actually meet today with Jeremy Lamb? Didn't see that on any media outlets?

well that would suck. These things happen when you sit and wait for good stuff to happen to you rather than go get the good stuff.

Ever since Thorn took over he has been on the sideline waiting for stuff to happen instead of being proactive. This team has been at least 3 years away from being a legit contender ever since he took over and they never get any closer because he doesn't make any moves. Iguodala's trade value will never be higher. He needs to trade him now and preferable for a draft pick IMO because they will acquire a player who will be here 4-5 years and can grow with Dru and Turner rather than Gasol or Al Jefferson who may only be here a year or two. Also, if you do the GS deal you could always sign Al Jefferson as a FA next year and have both Hensen and Jefferson.

GSW wont do anything until tomorrow regardless. We were trying to find a team to take jefferson or biedrins and we get someone else with similar value/contract. if Drummond is there at 7, Houston is gonna try and give at least two of their firsts to go get him. Thats the other hold up. But if Barnes or Gilchrist fall to 7 by some miracle...then GSW hangs up on everyone and just picks one or the other.

As for Lamb...they talked...thats all you need to know.

I believe he said no deal would be finalized until pick 7 is on the clock. The Warriors want to see how the first 6 picks go before they commit to a deal.

We have to be the only team I haven't heard one damn peep about. We're gonna end up sitting on our hands, not trading Iggy and just picking whoever the most obvious possible choice is at #15. Same **** different year. If we aren't the most boring franchise in the whole damn NBA I'd like to know who is. Even the Bucks, Bobcats and Rockets make some deals. We just keep whoever we have until their contract runs out or overpay them, then sign minimum salary type players and draft the guy everyone else is thinking we'll take. This is the same reason I wanted to abort ship as a fan last offseason. If this is how it goes again and we run out there with Jrue-Turner-Iggy-Lavoy-draft pick.....count me out.

I wonder what would happen if by some freak accident Robinson is on the board at 7 (I know not really possible unelss it fall Davis Beal Barnes MKG Drummond Lillard).

Houston probably wouldn't be as interested anymore and would look towards Josh Smith at that point...

would we?

Luck is not in our favor tho or we'd trade up and take Henson.

All of my hype has been replaced with rage and depression

its entirely possible we dont do anything tomorrow.....just take best available at 15 and draft 2 guys in the 2nd......i am not gonna hype up something crazy will happen when its not a certainty. you could also see smaller stuff like combining both 2nds to get early in 2nd round or trying to buy a first. etc etc.

I do think Iguodala will be traded this offseason tho......but not necessarily tomorrow.

I would be content if we traded up a tad to get ross if no deal for 7 happened. I, like you, dont wanna just sit there and wait for pick 15. Its highly possible one of ross, lamb, terrence jones is there at 15..and of course sullinger who they checked out and think his back is not gonna be an issue.

So they don't think sullingers back is an issue?

That's great. Don't see how u can pass on him at 15.

I just dont see how you draft sullinger without giving him a physical of your own. especially when the nba doctors red flagged him.

Eh...I wouldn't take Zeller over Leonard. He doesn't block shots.

he needs to stay at an optimal weight to be a legit PF conditioning wise. His drawback is really size and lack of athleticism which they kinda wanted in their next big man.

He does but he doesnt to the extent Leonard can. I wouldnt take either to be honest. Zeller can give you more offense right now. And is a good rebounder.

For any of you who like Meyers Leonard... go and watch his "highlight reel"... it's him getting a few boards, blocking a few shots and making a few off balance passes. Never once did I see a jump shot, a hook shot, anything offensive. I saw him get muscled out of the post by 6'3" guards multiple times. Tyler Zeller, although I don't like him much, is 10x better than Meyers Leonard. I don't think people realize just how awful Meyers Leonard is. MAYBE in 5 years he becomes half of a Tyson Chandler. MAYBE. If we draft him I don't know how I will be able to watch that. Like Spencer Hawes wasn't bad enough. I almost think Rod Thorn continually says he likes him just to get more interest in him for an earlier pick and hope someone takes him and not say a Terrance Ross or Jones or even Henson.
