Is your Hou/GS trade a theory or is that common knowledge in GM land?

I could deal with that.

If they come out of this with two picks and get one out of Ross/Rivers/Lamb with one and one out of Jones/Jones III/Sullinger with the other, I can live with it.

I'd probably prefer Lamb (who they seem to have no interest in), then Ross, then Rivers (although I go back and forth on him). Definitely would rather have Jones III than any of the other bigs. Just take a chance on the talent and that they can maximize it. Lavoy Allen had similar motor questions and they seem to have figured it out. I would almost even consider keeping Brand for the extra year as kind of a mentor to Jones III.

if you see sullinger picked(also david falk client)..you may see brand mentoring him. scary thought.

the sixers are concerned about it interfering with a trade with GSW. put it that way. Houston could just go in another direction of course.

He doesn't have enough value to get that, sadly.

He had a horrible rookie year, a so-so sophomore year, and a jekyll & hyde playoffs. I get the question a lot of people in the league don't see him as anything more than a rotation guy and some see him as a bust.

i'd be pissed if they traded turner. we should see how he does with a full offseason being the starter and being "the guy" if they trade iguodala. if he still struggles then i would be fine trading him. but i feel like he still has the potential to be a good player.

i think more likely they trade iguodala but they know one must go to really make room for a shooter/scorer

On the flipside tho..

if he is what he is (role player at best) then we wouldn't be able to even get 11 or 12 for him next year.

I find it hard to call him a bust. The way the 76ers have handled him has been really poor. Like Moefro says I would be pissed if they send him packing after the way the situation has been handled. Give the team over to Turner let him handle the ball facilitate and allow Jrue to play off that who is the better shooter and can knock down the 3. Not this crap of Turner doesn't get the ball and stands in the corner.

agree move one or the other now so we can grow this team forward. Turner and Iguodala are buds but dont fit well together on the court.

The smart move, if you believe in Turner, is to trade Iguodala. More cost effective and Iguodala's value is higher.

I'm just not convinced they believe in Turner.

true...but how would you, me and every other fan feel if we traded him away to a team where he could be "the guy" and then he becomes an all star in a few years? its one of those things where i just feel like it will bite us in the butt if we give up too early on him

Man I can't even express how angry this team is making me.

I DONT WANT IGGY ON THIS TEAM NEXT YEAR! I DONT WANT LOU ON THIS TEAM NEXT YEAR! I DONT WANT HAWES ON THIS TEAM NEXT YEAR!

And Iggy has to go draft night. No trades for Al Jefferson or Gasol only to have them old and broke down by thew time Jrue and Turner are at their peaks. The deal for 7, Jefferson/Beans, and Wright should have been done a week ago. Now we're just gonna sit on our asses and take the bpa at 15 and trout the same team out next year who's ceiling isn't high enough to house midgets!

Yeah it's definately a tough choice.

4 outcomes

You keep him and he pans out

You keep him and he remains the same and thus loses value

You trade him and get basically is just a role player (Yoru pick needs to pan out to of course)

You trade him and he pans out.

Iggy definately is the easier one to move since keeping him doesn't really do much for you in the long run but at this point I just want something to happen instead of staying put...

Part of this is due to us probaby still having a major hole left after trading iggy for a big later on.

I want to come out of this draft with a shooter and an athletic big.

Instead I'll get a big that will sit on the bench due to Collins and whoever we trade Iggy for all while Meeks starts next to Turner because we didn't get out shooter.

Meh

Lamb/Ross and Jones/Sully

or bust

and if the Beans or Jeff contracts were keeping us from takign the deal then we are ****.

Take Beans...hell he'd be just as good as Battie(and not Hawesome Hawes trolololol) was.

Too bad we are gonna wait for Houston to swipe in and steal it from us.

Good job, guys. Almost did something...

can't do that.

Here are my top 15 players who will have the best career in the NBA (all, of course, barring injury):

1. Anthony Davis
2. Harrison Barnes
3. Thomas Robinson
4. Andre Drummond
5. MKG
6 Royce White
7. Jared Sullinger
8. Damian Lillard (but to be honest, I haven't seen enough of him. I just like what I've heard)
9. Kendall Marshall
10. Bradley Beal
11. Quincy Miller
12. Dion Waiters
13. Draymond Green
14. Moe Harkless
15. Terrence Ross
16. Doron Lamb

Once again, I'm projecting their NBA careers.

*16 because I screwed up.

Negrodamus,

Question for you...what are your thought on Darius Miller at say pick 45 for the Sixers? I saw some Kentucky replays recently and even though his stats didn't reflect it, he seemed to always make an impact in the games I watched. Seems like a smart guy who does a lot of the little things, but can also hit the 3 a bit.
