I gotta tell you, I really like this Andrew Nicholson kid. He carried the Bonnies through the A10 tourney and was quite the presence throughout the season. Only thing I can't understand is that he's a senior big man for St Bonaventure and he can't average 10 rebs a game? Something's wrong there...

Yea if you can't board in the A10... I don't see it happening in the NBA.

My gut feeling is that we're going to trade this pick along with Iggy for a promising player or a player upgrade at the PF/C position. I can't see us drafting another SG/SF. Around our pick, all I'm seeing is rotational player quality PG/SG/SF and a back-up C. And we'd have enough "rotational" player on this team already.

“Activity is something that you have. That’s why as we move on and continue to get better, hopefully next year we need to add another high-motor big guy,” Collins said. “We have Thad Young as our one really high-energy big guy and if you look at him he has the body of a small forward so we need a guy who is bigger and has a high motor. As we continue to grow our team, those are the things we have to do.”

ummmmm John Henson?

Yea, Henson isn't the answer. The only two "high energy" big who might be available when we pick are Leonard and Moultrie and I serioulsy doubt either of turn into anything special in the NBA. Decent backups maybe, but that's not what we need.

I think we fill this need though trades or free agency.

I don't see a real answer to our problem were we will be selecting. BPA might be best.. I'm not sold on Moultrie. I saw him only once this year and he was lazy.. watched his UTEP games but never saw enough of him and that was 2years ago..

Looking at the 2nd rd Tu Holloway - Yancy Gates..
Holloway as the 3rd pg
Gates as a bruiser (Something we lack)

I would love Henson. He would fit nicely on our team, but my primary target in this draft would be Sullinger.

What do you guys think of Meyers Leonard and Tyler Zeller? Both guys seems to be acquirable with our 1st rounder. On paper, I like Meyers Leonard.

Hopefully his game translates from paper to hardwood (may take a Magician as wood usually turns to paper). May be a nice value pick from where that are selecting.

I know that anything can happen with any of these prospects and I know **** compared to the next guy, but...

I really wish I could just force the FO to not select certain players. I don't even need to choose the player I want... I just want to give them five blacklisted players that they absolutely cannot choose with their first round pick, and I'd be happy.

We are in a terrible situation because it's almost inevitable that they will select someone terrible.

The team has drafted very well considering their slots. Their biggest miss was Speights over Ibaka/Hibbert/Batum (?I think he was in that class as well), but otherwise they have hit on their mid teen picks...still confident Tony DiLeo will do a good job in scouting and they won't miss.

I think the problem with the guys who are in charge of drafting for us. They really don't value a players' upside. That's why we drafted guys like Speights over Batum or Ibaka. They prioritize a players' ability to contribute right now. And most of the guys who can contribute right now are players that don't have high ceiling.

Jrue and Thad were upside picks...Speights was a safe pick, ET a no brainer pick (we could argue trading down), and Vucevic was a little bit of both...pretty safe, but may be able to be a solid starting center long term. We can question some moves, but I don't think they have made huge mistakes in the draft. My last head shaker pick was Rodney Carney.
