Iggy/15-Marshall for Matthews/6-Drummond

The only problem (IMO) is that POR needs to add Babbit/Elliot/KT/N.Smith to get the money to work, essentially making it a 2 for 6 deal, which isn't overly realistic.

So. Can you think of any teams taht would return minor assets to POR for these players? Ideally teams taht have TPE's/late 1sts or 2nds?

Jrue/Matthews/Turner/Young/Drummond

Marshall/Iggy/Batum/Aldridge/Leonard

This type of deal can easily be accomplished by waiting a couple days for the new cap (year) to kick in on July 1. The deal could be agreed on and the picks made and then swapped on July 1. Portland will be well under the cap next year so if they wanted to do the deal the can easily take on the extra $$ in the deal.

This is a thread in the trades and transaction board talking about offers for our assets for top lotto picks like the King's 5th, GSW's 7th, Raps' 8th and Pistons' 9th.

Kings' 5th: I'm Ok with the deal of Salmons + 5th for Iggy + 15th. Salmon's got a year or two left in his contract and could be a nice replacement for Lou Williams. The deal gives us a shooter (Salmons) and a athletic shotblocker (Drummond).

GSW's 7th: I think the proposed RJ+7th for Iguodala is already a broken record. It seems that this is one of the most talked deal in the league in the recent days. The thing with the 7th pick is that you are forced to use it on the BPA in that position, which is Sullinger. I like Sullinger. I think he can be mobile by losing weight. But I'd still prefer Drummond. And if I were to be asked if adding Vuc to the mix would be needed for the Kings to do the deal over this GSW trade (5th + Salmons for Iguodala + 15th + Vuc vs 7th + Jefferson for Iguodala), I'd prefer the Kings' deal.

Raps' 8th pick: This pick is the Jeremy Lamb pick. I think picking Henson or Leonard is too high for the pick. I also don't think we should pick another PG in Lilliard and Marshall. I'd stay away from this pick. 76ers don't need another SG (lamb), PG (Calderon) or a rotational big man (Ed Davis).

Pistons' 9th pick: This pick is the Henson or Leonard Meyers pick. The proposed deal is CV + 9th for EB42 and 15th. I'd stay away from the deal. I don't think that the gap between Henson or Leonard is far from Moultrie, Perry Jones or Terrence Jones for us to absorb CV's contract.

Ellis is an exciting player but I'd rather bring Lou back. He's cheaper, he's our guy, he's okay coming off the bench, and he seems to be good in the community (buying criminals big macs and stuff). Not saying he's better than ellis, but the difference between Lou and monte is not worth turner and our first.

Twolves fan here, not so much a trade but seriously if the 76'ers could sign KG/Allen and draft Royce White while using the amnesty on Brand. How does that team not compete for a title?

BTW Royce White is the perfect fit for the 76'ers and a year under KG would do wonders for him. That would be a fun team to watch!

After the comments KG made about Philadelphia fans, I doubt he will ever be signing here.

The big ticket was so off base calling us fair-weather fans. A lot of our fans were not buying tickets because they knew this wasn't a championship season. What's fair-weather about that?

Full disclosure: I could've bought more tix this year but didn't. I hate myself.

^ to KG's defense the Celtics fans are truly something. Their fans cheering "Let's go Celtics" in the dying minutes of game 6 was a touching moment.

KG's a tremendous talent and competitor, but a dope...he couldn't even remember the 5 word phrase someone (Gatorade??) paid him to say when they won the championship. He may have actually meant to say Sixers fans like like to go to the county fair, but it came out this way. Certainly I jest, but it is safe to say KG's comments won't find their way on any monuments.

How about Thad and the 15 for millsap and their second rounder?

Thad could be a good change of pace guy for them with all those huge frontcourt players. Millsap is undersized but you could see him playing pf longterm when brand leaves. Hate to trade thad because I love his attitude and energy but it's hard to see him as our starting four.

If we drafted Drummond, and he turns out to be a decent defender by sheer size and weakside shot blocker... is he 'big enough' to get away starting Thad at PF? A Jrue/Turner/decent SF/Thad/Drummond would be crazy fast...
