I wouldn't open the door wide, but I wouldn't close it on him either. The Sixers could hire him as a draft consultant. That could lead to more down the road if they like his input... or not. He played with Dr J., so there should be a comfort level there (though I noticed he doesn't talk about him much - it's usually Moses, sometimes Andrew Toney (the two guys he had trouble posting up).
If during the draft the 6ers pick with a number of undersized PFs left on the board, it'd be interesting to get his opinion of them. No idea if he's been right, wrong or indifferent about any college players in the past, but I think he'd see things in a player that the current FO wouldn't... unless you consider Doug part of the FO at this point. If the 6ers land a PF that's half the MF Charles could be on the court, they'll be in good shape. Obviously he has to have some game, too.
