Tom,

What happened with Dangubic? I saw they traded him to SA for McRae and Jefferson, and then I saw the Nets bought Jefferson from SA? Confusing. Can you provide clarification as to exactly what happened? And is there any word on Thad? Will he just play out the year and opt out, or will he be moved? Thanks!

The Sixers traded 54 for 58 and 60, then sent Jefferson to Nets for cash.

Hinkie said today that he expects Thad to stay and really likes him.

Sounds like there could be a teleconference Monday. Other draft picks also supposed to talk that day.

Hey Tom, Thanks for all the insight...Maybe you know the answer...we had the chance to draft McDermott at 10 one of the greatest shooters to come out of college and we passed...This team needs shooters so bad maybe you can explain it. Thanks

I think that while he can shoot, McDermott isn't a good fit for the Sixers' uptempo system. He might have trouble creating his own shot without a star here requiring double-teams and man-to-man defense would be an issue (Brown doesn't play any zone).
