Sixers fans big board: Pick #2 (POLL)

Post#1 » by HartfordWhalers » Wed Apr 16, 2014 4:03 pm

Who is your number 2 pick for the SIxers to draft?

Using Draft express mock for the top 9 left, and will add whoever gets nominated from other or the next in the line as updating.

(Wiggins went 1)

Parker still hasn't declared, but by all means assume he is in.

Embiid.
“This may be one of the best jobs in basketball right now,” Colangelo said at a press conference introducing him as the new GM of the 76ers after Sam Hinkie resigned.

#2 is the easiest for me to choose. Wiggins or Embiid, in this case it's Embiid.

Yep this shouldn't be close. 3 could get fun
They say an analytics man doesn't have a heart, but I ran the numbers and nothing can be further from the truth - Sam Hinkie probably

Easy Embiid, even makes a half-decent nickname.

Three is where the fireworks begin, with or without Parker.

#2 is clearly Embiid in my mind.

If parker is there... It has to be Parker.

Isaiah Austin

Can't risk losing him

Embiid. We desperately need wing scoring (Jabari) but I think we are trying to rebuild through 2-way type of players.

Jabari Parker. There are big men in the next draft.
Mario Hezonja. Sixers4lyfe. The 2015 Draft is critical for our future..

Embiid for sure..no one would come in the paint against us and our wing defenders wouldn't have to sag off the shooters to help protect the paint. We would have two legit shot blockers, but would have trouble scoring consistently. I'd rather play tough gritty defense then give up 110 consistently.

This is one year I wouldn't mind being the #2 pick, rather than the #1. Just take whoever is left between Embiid and Wiggins. At #1 there will be constant buyers remorse while watching both develop.
