Boston is making Jeff Green available. Thoughts on trading for him? This could make Embiid a better pick for us, and possibly Randle with NO pick.

We have a Jeff Green already... his name is Thad Young and I rather keep him over Green.

And one of the supposed reasons Green is on the block is that he hasn't been the kind of team leader the Celts hoped for. Thad is a very similar player and a helluva leader. Why make a move for Green?

Thad is better than Green.

Pass, 11 times out of 10.

Wouldn't want to trade for him with his salary at roughly 9 Mil. He is a complimentary player that gets paid to much.

Hell nah to Green. Way too inconsistant and just not a good player overall.

Sure, how about Green and Boston's #1 for Thad?

Randle will not be available with the NO-pick.

No interest in Jeff Green. He imploded completely this season.

Or, as suggested above, Boston can send their pick with him, than we can talk

He is when he wants to be. He's a killer instinct away from being in Paul George's tier. His lack of hunger is a key component which kind of just makes him what he is. Talented player who disappears just as often as he shows up.

Not a good fit for us and I don't see Hinkie giving anything up to get him.

Ehh, I don't know about that. I agree that Jeff Green plays significantly below his talent level. But even if he had a higher compete level, he still has no mid-range game and doesn't play anything beyond passable defense.

I'll give that defensively he's a far cry from PG. From what I've seen, he's a more than capable shooter off-the-dribble from mid-range. Not much of a catch-and-shoot guy inside the arc, but I wouldn't say his mid-range game is non-existent.

No, I mean it's literally non-existent. Less than 10% of his field goal attempts come from 10-16 feet. And he shoots a lowly 31% at that range.
