77 is a fair rating for Embiid. 2K did a pretty damn good job on getting his face right. I just hope he has a nice post up game and is a good shot blocker. I have never played 2K14, can anyone comment on how accurate MCW and Noel's games are?

They were both alright, MCW could hit threes too easily, perhaps overrated in that regard, however he wasn't good at rebounding even by point guard standards. Noel wasn't athletic enough, wasn't quick and his vertical wasn't impressive although he could block shots well.

Thanks. Can't wait to get a PS4/2K15 in less than a month and hope they fix MCW & Noels' games.

He certainly did that pretty quietly. Did they announce it?

Y'all gotta understand DO NOT TAKE ELEVATORS ANYMORE……. Use the stairs

Tweet has since been deleted.

He then followed it up telling people not to be sensitive.

Like I said, he's going to get himself into a controversy. Has nothing to do with me hating rap or trying to dictate society. I just think he's a relatively naive young kid trying to be funny and trying to adjust to our society.

I hope he grows out of the social media presence. It will not help the team.
“This may be one of the best jobs in basketball right now,” Colangelo said at a press conference introducing him as the new GM of the 76ers after Sam Hinkie resigned.

I think its helped the team from a visibility standpoint, not the most important thing in the world but people have clearly taken interest. If I had to guess this is just a kid who for the first time in his life, due to injury, is living kind of a sedentary lifestyle and is just bored out of his mind. I bet you he won't be nearly the twitter machine he is now in a few months.
They say an analytics man doesn't have a heart, but I ran the numbers and nothing can be further from the truth - Sam Hinkie probably

I've been watching those. Kid is going to be a beast... hope he stays healthy. I want him to succeed so badly. Love the family support... the bit with him mom adjusting his tie at the 2:55 mark with his dad standing behind in a suit got me all choked up. Just a real honest, sweet moment.

Look at how big Embiid is compared to the three PF's in the middle. He has as much of a differential to them, as they have to Marcus Smart, a PG.

Actually if you ask me which Center I want for my perfect championship caliber team, I will chose Asik hands down

Yep, significant difference, and that's not even taking into consideration the standing reach.

I wonder why they didn't include A.I. on the '96 cover being that he was the top pick in that class and all?

I'm willing to bet that Iverson didn't want to do it or didn't show up and not a Slam decision. Unless they had some sort of fetish for Kerry Kittles.

Most likely. A.I. was always a rebel even before he played a game in the NBA.

Curiously, I read about that a few days ago. Something like Iverson was there but left the shoot early. The magazine made a big article explaining the absence in the same issue of Slam
