^Geez I think I'd be more than able to live off of 250K for one year lol. I hope he comes over, I think the team owes us this, with the Embiid situation going the way it has. Of course I am fine waiting another year, but he'd bring some excitement with him. Between him, Okafor, and Noel we would probably be able to put fans in the the seats again.

I agree. Interesting situation and I hope they find a way to get Saric here this year.

Even if they settled on a payment plan where Saric could pay off Efes in 5 or 6 installments over the next 3 years it would give Saric some financial flexibility.

With the insane money being tossed around in the nba I know Id do everything I could to get started in the nba asap.

I think he'll be able to defend PF. Especially as they get smaller and smaller.

Dude was battling Dirk nicely on defense and people still question his position...

4-man front court rotation... Noel-Joel-Dario-Jahlil

96 minutes a game allotted to the Power Forward and Center spots, divided by 4 players... About 24 minutes each, give or take? Should keep em fresh, and hopefully injury-free.

ANYONE ELSE EXCITED.

24 minutes a game if everyone plays all 82 games. But more minutes are available, since players miss games. If you get 76 games played out of all 4 (which is essentially a healthy season for everyone), then you are now at about 26 mpg. That number goes up further if anyone one misses more games.

For example, the Bulls had 4 bigs last year:

Gasol: 78G...35 mpg
Noah: 67G...30.5 mpg
Gibson: 62G...27.5 mpg
Mirotic: 82G...20 MPG

So they combined for 113 MPG since, on average, they for played 72 games each. And there were a few more minutes available that went to small ball lineups and bit players like Nazr.

113 min can give you 28.25 min per player, but we might see Holmes earning himself minutes as well. Which is not a bad problem to have to deal with.

The bigger minutes dilemma is where do you find minutes for all of the new first round picks next year? You would really need to have a lot of turn over to find minutes for Embiid, Saric and 4 new first rounders.

This is a great dilemma to have.

Seriously, after these years of all those first round picks in the nethersphere for various reasons it'd be nice to have too many on the roster for once.

Yeah I'll be downright giddy if we are adding 5-6 first round talents next year. The dream is 1-4-15-20 with Embiid/Saric too and that dream is fantastic.

The negative view would be that Embiid is a bit of who knows and if he does play will probably be on a tight activity/minutes leash. Saric will probably wait one more year. The Lakers could easily end up keeping their pick. Could just be the Sixers own first rounder and then 2 low firsts from Miami and OKC.
The feedback I've received from our fans is they understand we are trying to build something great. Good decisions come from having a broad set of options and making tough calls. We will do it unblinkingly. We have to be willing to take smart risks-Hinkie

That would be horrible for the Warriors... while we are dreaming pipe dreams why not make the dream 1-2-4 in 2016 and 1-2 in 2017. Heck, let's dream that the Sixers win the championship back-to-back in those years too in addition to those picks.

Not really a problem even. Embiid/Saric/Noel/Okafor hold down all the minutes at PF/C. Stauskas takes some wing minutes.

Then let's say you draft 4 1st round picks. I think it would finally be time to get "fit" players instead of BPA. So maybe trade down if BPA is a big.

But if you go out and get a SF/SG/PG/SF in the 1st, you pretty much have your 10 man rotation right there with either one of the PG's or one of the wings filling it out.

But yeah, then you'd have 9 guys who were 1st round picks in your rotation. Pretty slick. Everyone else on the roster will likely be inferior in talent, or lack the potential talent. Cut them, trade them, release them. Whatever, doesn't even matter.

This is really exciting news and we deserve some after the Embiid stuff. The idea of adding Saric, Embiid, 2 top 5 picks and also having two later picks to add more stashes makes everything worth it. Ben Simmons or Brandon Ingram and Jamal Murray or Kris Dunn would round out this roster really nicely.

Heck yes to Jamal Murray. TBH missing out on Ben Simmons wont hurt as much if we landed Jamal Murray with our pick, and form that Canadian backcourt.

Jah-Noel/Joel-Cov-Sauce-Jamal

Joel/Noel-Dario-Grant-Hollis-Tony

Plus the rest of the talent we draft with our other draft picks. Looks like a pretty awesome rotation moving forward to me :D

Dario and team croatia on watch ESPN right now. Dario's got 3 points so far to go along with a few rebounds, 4 by my count.

In half an hour Dario vs The Greek Freek.
We'll see how he will do against one of the best young players in the NBA.

Against Dirk he was very good, but that was just a warm up for the real things.

Greek team is playing a lot of pick and rolls, while Croatian team plays very good defense.
It will be fun...
