At least Noel is playing well, hit his free throws.

his style of play is too reckless for that

we need shooters...even streaky ones would be fine. Any one that needs to be occasionally guarded.

we have a bunch of baaaaaaad shooters.

Doug was a crazy old man at times (most time) but we need some of his patented floor spacers

Sims has quietly been awful this preseason. Getting to the line tho.

I like that we didn't lay down and die...but yikes.

Some thoughts;

Noel: Not forcing as much on offense, rebounding better, effecting shots but the most impressive thing has been how good he is in the passing lanes and with help ON ball defense as he forced and got a lot of steals. We need to stop giving him the ball on the Wing like he is a TMac and asking him to create offense tho. Use him more like a Noah type. He got beat up tonight. He just doesn't seem like he will survive an NBA season guys...and even without the knee injury. He is too skinny right now. Expect a lot of games off this year.

Wroten: Not a PG. Too out of control and asking him to not attack renders him kinda useless. As we go forward I wonder about his longterm fit actually. Still it was just an offnight by the looks of things.

KJ: He does positive things when he is out there. Jumper is less garbage than I said it was..which makes him the second or third best shooter on the team..by default. Clyde said he reminds him of Westbrook....yeah.

Sims: Shooting like poop and taking too many Speights shots. Getting to the line tho. Not sure if losing weight is helping him.

LMM: He will be that guy who takes more shots than he should but he has too.

Everyone Else: Gutter trash. Sampson is booty. Gordon is meeeeh. Lee is another reason why I shouldn't (or should) be a GM. I wish Hinkie would have brought in some shooters instead of these athletic scrubs..but alas.

going to be a long year guys.

Predicting 20 pts, 15 boards for Sims on opening night.

Only saw parts of the second half, I'm just happy to see that Nerlens hasn't been terrible. At this point I couldn't care less about what guys like Lee, Johnson, Gordon or Davies are showing.

Couldnt watch the entire game so cheers for the little player summaries. Im just happy nerlens is playing reasonably well, much better that game one. Our guard play is generally **** which results in turnovers and bad shots. Glad sampson got the start, id like to see what he can do now especially since theres a chance he wont make the squad. Chris johnson i had hoped to make a better showing

Didnt watch the game but considering we played 11 guys, and 5 of them are likely the 5 roster cuts before opening night, Id say it wasnt THAT bad. Glad to see them at least fight back after being down by so much.

This was definitely the "lets see what we have with these training camp invitees" game. Sad to hear about Ronald Roberts injury, as that will probably mean he will be one of the ones cut now.

But no Shved, Moultrie, or Thompson makes our already terrible bench just that much worse.

The overall shooting was atrocious(to be expected honestly with this group). However at least they began knocking down their FTs. 27 for 36 isnt terrible when you consider that brought the preseason average UP to 58.3% as a team lol.

LMAM has been pretty good. I thought he would suck, but he looks like our starting 3. I'm happily wrong about that (so far).

Wroten.... I still don't like him. He goes for his own stats at the expense of the team's success. How does a guy with the physical gifts of Wroten lack so many fundamental aspects of the game? It's like he never had a coach before.
I speak the truth.

That was brutal watching. We couldn't score against a terrible defensive team. Noel was good except for the turnovers.
