Hip-Hop: more into older songs, but also listen to good new stuff, but dont come to me with wiz or wayne or something like that. Kendrick one of the better ones for me right now. Wu-tang are legendary, also redman (blackout maybe one of my fav. albums of all time), Outkast also great.
RnB: Also more the not on radio songs, but i usually cant listen to them on my ipod. Is Bruno Mars RnB, i am not sure but really like his music. John Legend and Raphael Saadiq good singers, both good for the background while you have some action (dont forget to mention marvin gaye) .
Rock: more into punk rock in my teanager days, Blink 182, Sum 41, Linkin Park, Foo Fighters, Lenny Kravitz, Jimmy Hendrix and my all time fav. band red hot chilli peppers.
60's: Big, fan of guys like Sinatra, Martin, King Cole, Edith Piaf (i believe its the same years), Sam Cooke and so on.
French: i dont speak french, still like to hear it.
Turkish: since i am turkish i also listen to them Duman is my fav.
German: Also some german songs are in my ipod. From the likes of Sido, Cro and so on.
Also while i learn i enjoy listening to orchestras or some jazz or blues

Well thats my taste, but of course if someone asks i only listen to hip hop, since i listen to a lot of it. To long to explain what i like haha.
