Wouldn't they have been replaced with each regime change? Not sure how it works, but seems odd to replace most of the other staff and not them as well.

For some reason, I seem to have had the belief that they were never replaced. I could be wrong, but I will do some research later.

Looked into the head guys and they seem to have holdover, which is odd to me. Christopher Dodson and Peter Vitanzo have both been around since about 2014.

(Read a day in the life of article featuring Dodson and it annoyed the crap out of me)

Well, it started. People throwing out Greg Oden comparisons to Ben Simmons. Oden had degenerative knee issues and had a catastrophic knee injury. Ben Simmons has a broken toe, which has no long-term degenerative effects.

But let's create a narrative for the sake of being negative! People are the Fing worst.

Btw went back and watched Simmons' SL highlights again today. The guy is flat out freaking amazing. I cannot wait to see him play.

People comparing him to Greg Oden are stupid, just have to ignore it.

Just seems so odd to invest such obscene amounts of money into the players yet have our medical department run by Dr Nick Riviera.

The reporters failed today in asking questions about Simmons. They allowed wiggle room for BC. How could no one have asked and clarified if Simmons had another fracture or not? When BC said it didn't heal yet why not a follow up and ask if there was a new injury?

It's not a new injury... It' just not fully healed. I believe they would say there's a new fracture if there was one. It actually buys them more time (which is what they would want if they're tanking).

They also said they haven't fully decided what to do yet (continue rehab) or surgery. They said they'd talk about it in the upcoming days.

Sounds like he's slow healer, who could have theoretically played, but he's being held out because we want to tank. The fallout of this is developing a deep distrust in your fanbase, and the perception of your players being superficial (i.e. Simmons wants ROY).

Probably Rich Paul or someone else at Klutch Sports.

So if the team is keeping Ben out because they want to tank...why are they going out and winning? Time to accept it, your boy Ben wanted this. The injury excuse is just cover for it. You fans deserve better.

Enough salt in this post that Boston didn't wind up with Simmons to season a factory full of Philly soft pretzels.

We deserve better than some Boston flog in here trying to spread unsubstantiated rubbish based on no facts. I know you are in here desperately trying to start some spot fires in the hope Sixers fans are at each others throats over Simmons and his attitude... but it's not going to work. Seriously give it a rest troll. Did he sleep with your girlfriend or something?

You lost out on Simmons. Accept it. He's not in Boston. He's a Sixer.

Now we have two Greg Odens? The best thing in being a sixers fan is, that everyone hates us. I am tired of all the injuries and bad decisions, but I am addicted to all the hate we get.

Next season we will have the two most up and coming exciting stars in the league 100% healthy and ready to play ball from day 1. I'd say that is a pretty awesome situation for philly.

I don't think Simmons foot problem presents major long term concerns. Historically, these injuries heal and aren't reoccurring.

Embiid's foot is holding up so far; however, considering that he has only played 31 games in 3 years due to stress fractures in the back, broken foot, torn meniscus, and a hyperextended knee is a concern. Fortunately, aside from the foot, the other injuries are not major long term concerns.

I think if Embiid and Simmons play 60+ games then we will likely make the playoffs.
