The Blazers are really starting Juwan Howard at center. Desperate times...

Not that much older than Allen Iverson. They gameplanned to get Dalembert fouls. Not much energy on the defensive board for us.

Coming down and shooting a long jumper does not help the cause Iggy. You end up missing then the other team gets a long rebound and a fast break.

No one is boarding tonight. Questionable effort by Brand and Speights. I don't see us winning this one.

Man, I never thought I would say this but, the more and more I see how uninterested M.Speights
looks in wanting to play any defense, or rebound tough, the easier it is for me to say trade him. I mean if he can get us something, I say do it. The kid looks totally soft out there.

Problem is Young is the same way. Do you send both out?

So did we design a play out of that timeout that resulted in a contested three from the corner?

Shooting long jumpers ain't gonna win this game for us. Whenever we are on defense you can hear Portland yelling "post-up, post-up" for whoever AI's and Lou Will's man.

We need Carney and Holiday playing more because Portland's guards are just too big for Williams and Iverson.

No, we didn't. Thank god for Jrue Holiday though, or this is a fact:

This sixers squad couldn't even score 40 pts. I be damned.

Even High School teams can score 40 pts by half-time. This is a testament on everybody.

I feel for A.I, he's trying. Our bigs are pathetic, Thad's really struggling with his confidence. He missed this 3, but he had good position, good strength on the shot. But his aim was off.

Ironically, our best offensive player is Lou Williams: 6 assists, 1 turnover. If he's playing like this Lou tonight, then please give him the ball and the shots.

Thad had the ONLY + in the +/- ratio in the first half. As where the 5 inch taller, and 40 Lb heavier Speights had the worst at -7, and allowed Aldrige to score 10 Pts in under 2 minutes of game time when Speights was guarding him. Thad is an absolute All-Star player compared to Speights. Not even a question about it at all.

Can't drive to the basket if you don't got shooters or cutters. Portland's playing a zone and a rather good one.

We have no back-up center, that's a travesty.

Man, remember when J.Smith was the BEST Big Athlete when he was tested at the Chicago Pre-draft camp ? I mean a 7 Ft, 250 Lb player who is quicker than Chris Paul, and has a better verticle than Iggy, or Brandon Roy ? And this guy can get NO PT at all ? Well, I guess we ALL know now that Eddie Jordan is Anti-White, and won't give ANY White man any R-E-S-P-E-C-T-!!

I mentioned it, he's our best offensive player. Iggy dissappeared, and that may even be for the better. Since he's not chucking shots, that's a positive.
