I think the moment this game went to ET our chance at getting something on Saturday already took a massive hit. Costa will get his well-deserved ( :lol:

) rest. What a disgusting, great player. It's unfortunate that we couldn't get a replacement in for Schurrle/Salah earlier because Willian ran too much before the big game.

Costa is a hot head that played for Someone. Costa is not the most talented guy, and few could have predicted his growth into stardom. His role at Atletico when he got there was precisely to be the goon and try to get defenders red carded and also protect Falcao. You could just tell that he had been instructed to play dirty in games against Madrid and Barcelona.

Now he's playing for Mou who doesn't encourage that, but I think he welcomes it. Either way, dirty player + encouragement and green light= Diego Costa
