he's still so much better than anyone else in the MLS, quality-wise and IQ-wise

IMO at least

I agree.

I just worry his lack of pace will hurt him next season. He's getting mighty slow.

Nice to see NYRB up 1-0 over DC so far. Should make for an exciting finish to today's game.

he's very slow now a days but his handle and pass and ability to finish are exceptional

Wright-Philips I think would be a very minimal impact player without henry next to him

A lot of people don't even know the gen. soccer board exists. Is it really that big a deal? You could just ignore the thread.

Idk maybe I'm off base and it really is bothersome to others.

Not once has soccer ever been brought up in the clippers forum

Then just ignore the thread if it doesn't interest you. It's our way of promoting the forum, & it's working.

It's a shadow link that redirects here, it will fall off the Clippers forum fairly fast anyway.

You should put clipper game threads in the soccer forum to promote basketball as well

The difference in soccer is that it's single players trying to cheat an advantage. In case of the Clippers it definitely has been a team policy and probably still is.

It is an entire sport wide policy for soccer. Not a single player who doesn't fake like he just got shot in the chest

basketball forums don't need promotion. You are really complaining over something that hardly means anything to you but will help the soccer forum lol. Just move along if it bothers you.

What's the worst thing a basketball player has to fear? An elbow which will result in an immediate technical or possibly even suspension of the player.

Now think about the hits a soccer player is taking every game. An elbow is one of the least concerns really.

Just ignore mttwlsn16, it's not worth the argument.

I'll continue to promote this forum as it continues to grow.

So who's watching the late game? Does FC Dallas even have a hope against Seattle?

Great win for NYRB by the way, Henry looked fantastic with his two assists.

Great game by my Red Bulls! The pass from Henry was amazing. Big advantage now going to DC. Ones goal down there could finish it off!

0-0 tie in the first leg between RSL/Galaxy. I don't know if I should be happy cause it feels like we should have at least gotten 1 goal considering how many shots at scoring we had while LA barely got any. gotta do it on the road now.

Glad you do what you do for this tiny MLS thread, Ozzy. Nice to see it a little more active during the most exciting time of the year!

Loved that BWP/Luyindula/Henry goal. Red Bulls are looking really scary lately.

Can the NYRBs stay strong and move to the next round, or will DC come back & show why they were the better team all season long?

A 2 goal deficit will be hard to make up for.

The MLS PLAYOFFS continue today at 2:30pm

United looked two steps slow in New York. They have to be a completely different team this afternoon.

Holy **** I'm nervous.

I'm nervous about playing at StubHub and refs not letting this be LD's final game. I just want to see a fair game all around, I'll feel better about it that way if we happen to lose. That said, I'll take a win in any way it comes. I'm a goddamn hypocrite.
