Honduras' win makes the Mexico game that much more interesting. I will stay up late watching that one!

Wow, Panama just tied it with 9 minutes to go. This is going to be really interesting if Panama can hold on

That final goal for Mexico was epic. We're going to be hearing about that goal in CONCACAF qualifiers for the next 40 years.

considering the beauty of the goal itself along with the context of the situation, one of the greatest goals in mexican history.

I gotta admit, that goal put me in tears tonight...Panamas goal took everything outta me and I pretty much had convinced myself that we weren't going to Brazil. Raul Jimenez's goal is historical, it we will be remembered for a long time. Seeing Chicharito in tears at end of the game pretty much sums up what Mexicos qualifiers have been like this whole time, it's a disaster. We're still not in, but knowing they control their own destiny is satisfying. Tuesdays game is monumental, I can't wait

That goal was almost as epic as Maxi Rodriguez' goal vs Mexico back in 2006 and Bergkamp's goal vs Argentina back in 1998. Off the top of my head, those seem like the 3 most historic goals in national team play.

Any chance of an upset in the playoff between Mexico/Panama vs New Zealand?

Uruguay will beat whoever they sent from Asia so I won't even entertain that thought.

I'm hoping New Zealand wins.

Also nice when more parts of the world are part of the World Cup.

New Zealand has a better chance against Panama but I'd still favor them over NZ.

Colombia won today despite playing with 10 men most of the game. Quintero made his debut and was brilliant in the limited time he has. I hope we start playing him more and more often since he will be key to our success in Brazil.

chicharito is doing his best to be public enemy #1, what a blunder of epic proportions

yeah, that had me raging for a while. he also fked up on the second chance but lucky for him, he had Peralta behind him and sank that ball into the net.

i wouldnt say that second chance was a chicha-screw up. In my opinion he did everything right and CR's keeper got lucky with that last second deflection. Oribe was in the right place at the right time.

yeah....but the way Mexico is playing, i wouldn't doubt it happening. I can already feel....the RSL man, Saborio, gets the game winner late. That would be something.
