I'm loving Kouyate, doesn't matter whether he's being played in defense or in the midfield, as soon as he touches the ball he just starts charging at the other teams goal. It's awesome and sometimes hilarious.

Ibra's probably my current overall favourite player to watch/human.

I like all lefties since I'm a left footed player myself. But Arjen Robben is my boy. Plays in the right wing and NEVER uses his right unless he's shooting. People can hate his diving all they want, but if it weren't for the excessiveness of it he wouldn't have had much of a career given how fragile his legs were.

I applaud him every time he dives to avoid a deadly tackle. Good on you Arjen

loool deadly tackles rarely ever happen in the penalty box. He dives to win a penalty not to avoid getting his legs smashed. Great player otherwise!

Look at this reckless step tackle by Marquez who should have known better than to challenge a quick player like that in the penalty box. If a 1st class defender can do that stuff what makes you think the average defender won't try to go in for a hard tackle.

Robben was lucky to get not get his foot completely clipped in this case. But for a player as fragile as him, those silly tackles mean 6-12 months in the shelf.

We sabotage talented players who are just trying to avoid being on the injury list and praise the dirtiest of dirties like Felipe Melo who should be banned from the game for playing so recklessly. This isn't rugby or hockey where you just get to smash people and completely ignore the concept of the game.

My favourite non-Spur is Totti, hands down. He's been one of my favourite players since I watched him dominate Euro 2000, I was gutted when they lost to France. It will be a very sad day when he retires.

And who could forget that cucchiaio?

We do not have a thread for the Brazilian national team, nor their qualifiers. Let's put it here.

First the facts: Maicon dropped from Brazil squad (http://www.bbc.com/sport/0/football/29108852). It is confirmed that it is due to a serious breach of discipline.

Now the rumors about the breach of discipline:

1. At first it was said that Maicon banging his teammate Elias and got caught.

2. He bullied David Luiz, jerked off into his bottle of shampoo and got caught.

3. He organized pepper and condensed milk and shoved it up his roommates Elias' arse whilst drunk, and then made the latter believe that he had been raped by four men.

Its a shame DDR spent his career on a mediocre team like Roma. If he plays for EPL club people will see him different.

I enjoy watching Toni Kroos. For me he's Xavi with incredible shooting ability. Pirlo is another one.

I merged this into the random thought thread, as it's a pretty random thought.

Outside of Arsenal... Ronaldo, Di Maria, Reus, Modric, Tim Howard, and Robben.

by whom ? People always remember Essien, Yaya, Khedira even Carrick before DDR, especially for those who dont follow Serie A. He's very forgettable name. Same like Totti, only Serie A fans consistently put him in GOAT conversation

De rossi is way better than those players and probably no one would rate those players above de rossi. I think de rossi is rated as much as he deserved. Not underrated or not overrated
