Sounds like we are getting Arturo Vidal for $49 million
http://soccer.realgm.com/wiretap/2548/R ... e-For-$49M

Same guy who broke Sanchez to Arsenal last year is saying the deal is done, final and announced after Copa America.

Love Vidal

I don't believe it at all tbh , there's literally not one reason for him to join us and leave juventus. He has cl final and copa america to worry about at the moment too , there's no way he's thinking about a move now.

$49 million is dirt cheap for Vidal.

Juve are supposedly closing in on Khedira...so it could very well be that they have been prepared for a Vidal departure for quite some time.

I hope you guys are kidding. Only club he can consider of leaving juve is chelsea. Why would he leave from a club where he is constantly winning serie a and huge possibility of winning league cup and a finalist of the CL to go to a club where cannot pass the quarter final for past 5 years and haven't been winning the league for years? Give me one logical reason please.

How?

If he is available at 49 mil, you really cant see PSG, Chelsea, Citeh paying him more than what Arsenal can ever imagine?

PSG are FFP strapped for now , Chelsea don't have much of a need and City aren't that desperate for a CM at the moment and they're chasing homegrown players

I already said there's no chance he would come to us but if it were the reasons would probably be money , play with his friend sanchez , london , we're a team thats improving in quality etc. But as I said there's no reason's he'd come.

i wish they would stop comparing every player with dribbling skills to messi. messi was the best player in the world at his age.

Yeah the messi comparisons are almost
Always bad in every way. I think fekir is Going to stay one more year to play in the CL with Lyon and in their new stadium.

besides I dont think we need a player in his position. would rather lacazette from Lyon.

Am I the only one that think we should cash in on Jack W? Seems like Citeh are willing to pay good money for the lad and if true, I would do it.

I used to really like Jack's gutsy play, but in recent seasons he's become too inconsistant and injury prone,. Given the depth at his position, we can afford to sell him upgrade with minimal investment.

Absolutely not.

Sure it seems deep now but there are only three other guys who can play in the middle of the pitch and be relied upon consistently: Ramsey, Coquelin and Caz. Now Coquelin is an automatic starter, one of Ramsey and Caz starts on the wing. So really Jack is our first backup CM.

The other option is Teta, whom I LOVE but Jack is better and is only going to keep getting better.

Can't just give up on a player like that.. He's shown generational talent, we're in a position where we don't need him to hit the ground running, just give him time, because Cazorla is going to be gone soon and that's when his time will come.

Arsenal doesn't need to cash in on Jack Wilshere. Of course, if Manchester City offers something ridiculous, Arsenal would be wise to look into it but I think Wenger would be reluctant to sell.

Cazorla, Ramsey, Ozil, Wilshere, Arteta, Rosicky and possibly Zelalem is a Golden rotation at CM/AM. Arsenal looks like to be now more on the spending to contend spectre more than selling to profit at this moment. They shouldn't move any piece of it at this point.

Cech was a great signing. They should probably sign a DM to compete with Coquelin for the starting spot. Schneiderlin would be perfect.

Been reading Arsenal's got a 60 mil pounds bullet to fire on Lacazette/Fekir. Don't think they fit the price tag yet, but heck. They look good on paper for this team, dying for big time scoring machines.

We need another midfielder so we don't have to rely on Arteta/flamini and then we need to find another 15 goals from somewhere.

We apparently have a 70 mill budget , spent 11m on cech , schneiderlin's price tag is 24m or so. So that comes to about 35 m left not including possible sales. Could probably fetch a good 15-20 mill in sales.

That is what I am saying. If we can fetch over 30m for him, do it yesterday. We could sign an upgrade at his position. We don't have luxury of waiting for players to develop anymore. Today's competative environment is to get the best talented 15-17 players to give you a chance to compete for real silverware.

We are fielding a squad from big teams that were willing to part with them, but I will take it.

If we land a world class striker, we can make some real noise.
