Best part of it was Ben Davies' reaction, hands on his head in disbelief.

Lamela is extremely talented, but sometimes he appears to be something of a shrinking violet in big league matches, but has all the confidence in the world in a match like this. He needs to find a vein of form to take from competition to competition.

Yahoo Sports reporting Lamela's goal

Erik Lamela just scored with a rabona from the top of the box and now he can never be criticized again.

The 22-year-old Argentine has received a heavy dose of negative assessments since joining Spurs from Roma in the summer of 2013. Prior to Thursday's Europa League match against Greek side Asteras Tripoli, he had only scored one goal in 29 appearances for his current club. But it turns out he was just building the suspense for the ultimate in ill-advised but somehow successful goals.

Spurs manager Maurico Pochettino was so stunned by the goal that when the camera cut to him, it looked like he had soiled himself and forgotten his own name.

If you even try to attempt this in FIFA 15, the game will melt and you will probably be arrested.

Anyone still watching this Spurs v Asteras game?

Harry Kane scored a hat-trick, then Lloris gets sent off and now he's in goal. He just let in a howler.

Döp Döp Döp :D

Nice win for us against Limassol.
Traoré was motivated and Hazard is getting more and more acclimated to a more physical style in Germany.

Hopefully we can get another three points two weeks from now in Cyprus, which would pretty much ensure us of a place in the round of 32.

What a bizarre game. I was only able to watch the 2nd half and to think I think Lamela's second was a crazy goal...

Yes he was, but at the same time he is the most gifted player i ever saw besides Ronaldinho, Zidane, hagi and some other of the worldstars.
But he lived like a dan bilzarian light version!
Bilic could change something for the national team.

Good win for Gladbach again. What is their streak right now?

It was actually one of the worst games of the season from us.
There was no movement at all and they even had some chances while playing at least five of their reserves.
Anyways, we've got another win and we could win the group with a win at Villareal.

BTW: The streak is now at 18 games without defeat.

This Wolfsburg team is sick.

Could go all the way. Many people in Germany hate them because they dont have much traditione and are a kommerzverein(like City, Chelsea and PSG.)
Dirk Nowitzki, Steve Nash, Kevin Garnett, Toni Kroos, Pep Guardiola, Ernst Happel, Joachim Löw.

The 2002-03 team was better IMO.
