You like a former Schalke player? That girl you banged here in Germany would be pissed.

Lolol. Luckily I'll never see Annika again.

I hate clubs not players. I respect Neur's game way too much to hate him. Not an exact comparison but I don't hate Magic for similar reasons as a Cs fan.

I honestly don't see how one couldn't respect Neur after the past three years. Maybe "like" was a poor choice of word?

Never say never. She might one day stand in front of your door.

Bayern just won the Telekom Cup with a 3:0 against Wolfsburg. Lewandowski scored two of them, with the other one scored by Bayern's new player Rode. The Cup also involved Gladbach and Hamburg SV.

And that's also a nice one. Scholl's last game was Ribery's first one. Scholl left the field and Ribery replaced him. Today Ribery was replaced by Scholl's son (temporary) :o

Gotta question when Wolfsburg will finally realise they need to buy two quality CB's. In fact, that probably should be even more of a priority than upgrading from Olic to Lukaku up top.

All three goals today were a gift of mediocre defending from the CB's IMO.

I liked Knoche a lot last year and think with a high quality partner they'd have a really strong duo. Naldo's not that guy, and certainly not at this stage but if they did snap up Dede and he was the goods they'd be good there.

Plus making sure that they don't start the season with Olic and Dost ever again has to be the priority for them. I may think Lukaku's over-rated because of how much people want him to be Drogba, but if they can finish that signing that'd solve a lot more problems than upgrading Naldo. Which is why it's what they should be focusing on first.

I really like that Lewandowski is fitting right in there from the start. He has the potential to be the complete fullback who even might lift Bayern's game to another level.

How do most Bayern fans feel about Kroos' departure?

Only asking because I'm a little worried that James transfer could have a similar affect on Isco as Thiago's transfer had on Kroos :(

I think in general Bayern's fan have not been as emotional attached to Kroos as they are to Müller and Schweinsteiger for example. No one is happy, that a player like that leaves the team, but the quality in the midfield should be high enough to compensate it. The way he left was quite OK, I think the World Cup also helped his standing. He helped us also to win the CL so it was a quite clean goodbye.

Most people are sad that he is leaving, but at the same time all understand Bayern and Kroos why they did break up.

Why have Bayern been so eager to sign a high profile backup goalkeeper?

Because they don't have enough Spaniards on the team already.

Pep insisted on a third keeper. In case one if them get hurt, he prefers to still have one good keeper on the bench.

And while our second guy Starke is a good keeper and he also is a good guy for the mentality of the team, his game is not to similar to Neuer's game. They always had to adept the whole tactic.

Today, 65.000 people joined the team presentation at the Allianz Arena, where they welcomed back the World Cup winning heroes and the rest of the squad. The stadium was sold-out. The set strategy will be to have a squad consisting of 18 top class players and 6 young talents.

Additionally, they presented the new CL away kit, which is a come back of "La Bestia Negra" all black. That's a sexy one!

Just in time during the injury crisis with Thiago, Schweinsteiger, Weiser, Martinez out, there is very good news for Bayern Munich fans.

Since December 2012, Badstuber had not played one single Bundesliga game, due to injured ACLs. This weekend he played his first game against Wolfsburg and no failed tackle, 78 passes with a pass success rate of 85.9% including 7 accurate long balls. That is already very close to the stats which made him a Bayern and national team regular.

I really hope he can keep up after that strong come back.

Badstuber looked good. Although the odds are against him.
If he was a winger he would absolutely be done.
As a CB however there may be hope he can fully recover to old form since CB's don't need to do as many sprints and generally run less than everyone else on the pitch minus the keepers.

I really hope that they get an additional CB so they can give him a lot of time to recover and to bring in slowly in the rotation. It is just a very nice story.
