Yes, and you know why ?
As you know Porto is usted to sell they players on a real high price when they are good, but not Maicon.

I dont get why a team with big buckets to spend and being the 2* Classified in Germany would want Maicon.

They've been linked to Maicon, Glik(Torino), Rüdiger(Stuttgart), Mbemba(Anderlecht) and some others.
So I'd wait on them presenting a new guy before judging their signings.

Also, it seems like that loan deal of CB Andreas Christensen from Chelsea to Gladbach should happen.
Would most likely be a 2 year loan deal and could latern on work like the one for Hazard, were we bought him with Chelsea having a buyback clause.

BTW: After being linked to Konoplyanka, we're now linked to Andriy Yarmolenko of Dynamo Kyiv.
I guess we'll sign 6 strikers, 4 center backs, 3 wingers and 2 central mids before the transfer window's closed.

Probably because they need a new CB but are not willing to pay the 15 to 20 mil it would take to get a clear upgrade over Knoche/Naldo

Buy them both and you guys have the best winger rotation in the Bundesliga. Probably even better than Bayern since Robben and Ribery rarely seem to be able to hit the pitch lately.

Sure, but we'll first have to sell a couple of our guys to be able to pay those two.

Anyways, it seems like you guys are landing the top goalscorer of 2nd Bundesliga in Florian Niederlechner of Heidenheim.

I hope he has better technical abilities than Polter. If not that will turn out another flop. Stat-wise, they look eerily similar from last season.
Gotta sign a higher caliber striker if Okazaki leaves.

CB Papadopoulos from Schalke to Leverkusen.

Wolfsburg seems to be interested in bringing back Mandzukic from Atletico.

CB Marc-Oliver Kempf of Freiburg might be the next signing for RB Leipzig.

Also, I just looked at that under 21 squad for the european championships and they've got ter Stegen, Leno and Horn for goal(not sure why you need all three of them), while Jogi will play Weidenfeller and/or Zieler against the USA and Gibraltar.

I really hope those two are done after those two games and ter Stegen + Leno will become Neuer's backups.

Mandzukic would be a good choice for Wolfsburg. They can definitely use another quality guy like him.

Best player in the league when he came to HSV from Ajax back in 2005.

Real Madrid ruined him, but he came back and was a key player for Tottenham in their good years with CL football.

Love VdV. Many fond memories of him at the Lane. Hope he does well at Betis, but sadly it seems unlikely as he's a shadow of his former self these days.

Wish there was a video of his screamer against Arsenal at the Emirates in the CL. Or should i post the 2005-06 season when HSV beat Bayern twice where VdV was MOTM?

It was only a matter of time: we're interested in Mitchell Weiser. Not saying that would be the worst move possible (even though I'm not a fan), but isn't it incredible how predictable Preetz' moves are?

Now, if Schalke, Hamburg and Berlin could somehow merge their teams without losing any revenue I still don't think they could build a contender with Preetz, Beiersdorfer and Heldt at the top.
