2014-15 English Premier League Discussion (Thread III)
7 game weeks to go. League table looks like this:
Will Tim Sherwood get Villa relegated? Is Pardew actually a genius? Will Liverpool play beautiful attacking football? Find out in arguably the most boring climax to a PL season in recent memory!

Was a fantastic game, wasn't expecting such a spectacle. Both teams are disastrous defensively, so maybe I was wrong to have such low expectations.

The Championship is pretty exciting though. Who do you want up?
I would love to see Wolves back because of the traditions and the Black County Derby against West Brom.
I dont think they will make it, but Ipswich would be fun. Been a long time since they've been up. Would be fun if both Norwich and Ipswich went up and Old Farm became a PL fixture.
Boro have a good team with an interesting manager in Karanka. Good location as well, could be some tasty fixtures vs Newcastle and Sunderland if they avoid relegation. Derby County were horrible last time they were in the PL. And they will probably lose Schshteve McLaren to Newcastle.
Bournemouth and Watford are nothing clubs. Watford is only famous because of Sir Elton John.

Dirk Nowitzki, Steve Nash, Kevin Garnett, Toni Kroos, Pep Guardiola, Ernst Happel, Joachim Löw.

I hope brentford(loan jon toral there again) and wolverhampton make it. I want to see Afobe in the PL to see if his goal scoring can translate to the first division.

Agreed, I've been following the Championship closely this season, mostly because of Alex Pritchard's loan at Brentford. If they can't get into the playoffs, then I want Ipswich up, but they've been in pretty ordinary form lately so they might miss out too. No prizes for guessing why I want them up, though.

Maybe too many London teams if Brentford got promoted.
I like when there from all parts. London, NE, NW, Midlands, South, East Anglia, Wales.

Looks like QPR might be going down to counterbalance that, though.
Sure is. He looks like quite a player, I'm hoping he can make a break into the first team next season.

Do you guys believe Chelsea will be for sure the champion or does any team still have a chance?

Chelsea Is too far ahead. Arsenal is in good form, but we are 7 points ahead with a game in hand. This year is blue.
Nothing left to watch for this season.

qpr beat chelsea and cesc/matic get yellows is the only way I see the race opening up. Chelsea without cesc/matic/costa against united and arsenal could mean more points dropped. But its highly unlikely.

Neither Matic or Fabregas has been any good lately. Injury to Hazard would be significantly more damaging.

I really think Hazard is the best player in the Premier League right now, and deserves to win player of the year.
I sometimes watch Chelsea just to see him play. A magician.
