Dont you just support clubs with Colombian players?

Not really. I don't care much for Milan or United. Only really like Madrid and liked Chelsea, but the team got boring, the league got boring, plus Costa is despicable

I obviously want Bayern to win it all but then on the other hand the Guardiola-mocking from the German media and Foye would be tiresome.

But in all seriousness I would be happy to draw Real in the group stage. It's possible. Bale and Modric returning to London would be awesome.

Let's all remind ourselves that Modric once refused to suit up for us against City in an effort to force a move to Chelsea before giving him a round of applause.

That's a big part of why I'd like to see them return. I'm genuinely curious about the reception they will get.

Personally, any shred of bitterness I had for the two of them is gone. Our team, while still young and prone to mental lapses, is better than it's ever been in the Premier League era, even with Bale/Modric/VDV. That certainly helps in erasing any past grievances.

Above all I'm just looking forward to the CL campaign. I hope it's not a disappointment.

Weiler is looking like the ideal man to clean up the mess of Hasi.

Tielemans and Dendoncker were dominating all over the pitch.

The 3rd round of qualification is done and there've been some surprises.

Anderlecht lost at home to Rostov and are out, while Young Boys Bern were able to come back from that 2-0 deficit of the first leg to beat Donezk thanks to penalties.

The draws for the champions league playoffs will be held on Friday at about 12:00 p.m CET.

Here are the pairing for the draws.

Champions Route:

Seeded teams:
Viktoria Plzen
Celtic Glasgow
FC Salzburg
APOEL Nikosia
Legia Warzaw

Unseeded teams:
Dinamo Zagreb
Ludogoretz Razgrad
FC Copenhagen
Hapoel Be'er Sheva
FC Dundalk

League Route:

Seeded teams:
Manchester City
FC Porto
FC Villareal
Ajax Amsterdam
Borussia Mönchengladbach

Unseeded teams:
AS Roma
Steaua Bucuresti
Young Boys Bern
AS Monaco
FK Rostov

Champions route and non champions route is a complete b.s that waters down the group stage.

7/8 of the non champions route are actualy deserving Cl material
only Celtic from the champions route is really Cl Material
Yet at least 4 b.s teams will make it from Champions route whilst 5 better teams ( or even more if Rostov/steaua/Young Boys upset someone) will get ousted and down to the UEFA Seville League.

Absurd.

Borussia Mönchengladbach should beat Young Boys, but will be interesting to see how they cope with the plastic pitch and Adi Hütter's crazy style of play.

I'm sure Baph remembers 2010 and how Spurs struggled there, I think it was like 3-0 after in the first half.

We just played them a couple weeks ago and drew 3-3, winning the penalty shootout.

It's a big chance for us to make it to the CL for the second time in a row, but we still need to get better defensively.

Here are the complete draws.

Champions Route:
Ludugorez Razgard vs Viktoria Plzen
Celtic vs Hapoel Be'er Sheva
FC Copenhaven vs APOEL Nikosia
FC Dundalk vs Legia Warsaw
Dinamo Zagreb vs FC Salzburg

League Route:
Steaua Bucuresti vs Manchester City
FC Porto vs AS Roma
Ajax Amsterdam vs FK Rostov
Young Boys vs Borussia Mönchengladbach
FC Villareal vs AS Monaco

Porto vs Roma and Villareal vs Monaco should be really interesting and Zagreb vs Salzburg as well.

Absurd.

Based on what? Team name? Celtic lost to a team from Gibraltar... I'd say all of the seeded teams from the Champions Route are better than Celtic.
IMO Platini's reform was a good decision. It allows the best teams from poorer countries to compete against the best in Europe.

I think Villarreal will handily beat Monaco, when Spurs drew them in the EL group stage last season I expected a lot more from them, but they were very poor. They also have no home attendance or atmosphere whatsoever, I don't think anybody cares about football in Monaco anymore. Still, Villarreal have lost a few important players this summer so it will be interesting to see how they do.

Porto vs. Roma is undoubtedly the best tie of the lot. I feel a bit sad that one of them won't qualify, to be honest.

Cl should have

4 guaranted spots for SPain, England, Italy and Germany
3 guaranted for Portugal, France
2 guaranted for Turkey, Russia, Holland

and let the rest of the league champions of the countries battle for those last 4 spots.

Give the best and most competitive product possible.

Sucks for Roma, but it's difficult seeing them beating any of the teams they'd have gotten drawn up against anyway. They should just be happy they didn't get City.
But didn't do badly last tournament...now with Spalletti in charge it'd suck to see them miss out

Don't see anything wrong with that. Makes sense to have the Milans/Romas of the world in the CL rather than FC Wankov who cruised the Kazakhstani First Division. I mean there's always the Europa League. It's absurd that one of the likes of Roma or Porto should miss out due to the counter productive system in place now.

Probably a bit late to whine about wealth injustices in football, too.

wow tho the 1% pls give all the money to the poor *rapturous applause, confetti explodes everywhere, tears of solidarity*
