How lucky we were aginst Suisse so unlucky we were this time.

Not that would change anything but Portugal has a lot of unfair players who were wasting time near perfection. And still no cards and only 3 minut extra time (i doubt it would help to have more time, but there were long stretches in the match where no play occured).

Great result for us in the first game. Victory with 2 goal differential against Swiss would only require a draw against Czechs.

GO TURKEY!!!

I predict 6 Turkish goals... 3 of them by Derdiyok, Inler and Hakan Yakin.

omg just look at the field.

they are playing on water.

ps: 1:0 swiss, that is the pass of the century right there. it stopped right in front of the goal scorer

I wish thev first match was played on the water too. (btw Koller would be a big advantage in these conditions).

**** ! now i know how Polish fans feel like

we played great first 25 minutes or so and came very close to scoring but once the ground became a slime our players lost composure. we need to hope for a lucky bounce and a score to tie the game, other than that this team is not wired to play in this conditions.

When you have the luck...Turkey knocks out the Swiss in the 90th minute. 2-1.
Two spectacular matches as one of the home countries are first out of the tourney.

almost had a **** heart attack but i am glad my namesake came through and we are still alive.

somebody school me on this, us and Czechs have same points same goal differential and same number of goals. what happens if we draw last game?
