We have an impressive compilation in the front court but our starting backcourt opening night may very well include Wolters or Middleton. I like them both but asking young 2nd rounders to contribute as starters is not ideal. I thought you lost a major piece in your stretch 4 and very much hope your FO would show some interest in Ilyasova, a really good rebounding and shooting 4 that played with significant injury last year. I imagine you guys are pretty high on the youthful backcourt as well. Are you imagining Bledsoe going elsewhere or a match? If you match which PGs are you letting hit the market? Whats Goodwin's future? Don't you dare say a word about Giannis or Jabari but feel free to throw out some ideas how we can help make each other better teams.

Your sig is sick. It may be have been meant to be funny but it's extremely childish and immature.

So what are the suns doing? They got dragic who's gonna opt out and make that kyle Lowry money. Bledsoe wants the max. Thomas just signed a 4 year contract and they drafted ennis.

It doesn't make sense, someone is bound to get traded.

We aren`t trading any of them for peanuts just because we have 4 good pg`s. And our FO look at them as a guards, not just pg`s.

Also, Ennis will spend majority of time in D-league so there is just enough time for Dragic, Bledsoe and Thomas at 1 and 2.

Hi Suns fans, I come in peace. I just have a quick question to ask you guys about your PG situation as a Houston Rocket fan. Are you guys ok with spending $35 million on your guard rotation in 2015 with no stars at either forward or center slot and only competing for the 7th or 8th seedin the west? Because that's exactly where you guys would be. You aren't keeping those 4 guards any more than we were keeping Parsons after signing Ariza. PHX needs picks or forwards/centers with potential. Luckily, we have both. Thoughts guys? Thanks!

Personally, I think we'll be better than the Rockets, though even around here it's a minority opinion. You're right though, we are small and thin up front. There just aren't any great bigs available that fit our system. It's not for lack of trying. Enjoy Ish Smith. He's fun. :) Cheers!

"I come in peace", then you proceed to trash our team and try to sell us on low first round picks and the players you have in the front that are no better than what we have already. NICE!

We have a potential NOP lottery pick that we could give you guys for Dragic. It's in 4-19 range. I'm not trashing your team at all. I'm just trying to see how Phoenix Suns fans would react if they lost Dragic for a potential pick and/or maybe T Jones?

I imagine that the Suns are not interested in trading Dragic to the Rockets for anything the Rockets could offer outside of Harden or Howard. He had his best season, was an all-pro, and has become the franchise's face. If you were sitting in the Suns' position and you already hold 3 potential first round picks next year, would you trade him for an first round pick of indeterminate quality? I do not think you would.

That's a trash offer. The Suns roster is built around depth, and the Rockets after trading away Asik and Lin don't have any. After Harden/Howard your roster is very thin and we aren't trading any of our PG's for future picks. Suns have youth, they don't need to get any younger.
Now if you want to trade us Dwight Howard and a pick for Dragic and Plumlee that's totally fine since you guys need a PG and Suns need a center/forward with potential and picks.

Which forwards or centers with potential do you have that's better than Markieff Morris and Miles Plumlee?

Dwight Howard and a pick for dragic and plumlee? hahahahahahahahahahahahahahhahahahahaha

I understand every team overvalues their players, but that is comical.

I am sure Q's comment was meant to be tongue-in-cheek. I'm glad you found it amusing! Now do you have anything constructive to add to the conversation?

I'm all in for bringing EB back to the South. What do the Hawks need to offer to make this happen?

Our GM, Danny Ferry, is sold on 'B' talent, and our team needs talent.

We struck out on Gasol and Deng and we need to spend our cap.

Horford was already mentioned, also a Millsap/Teague or possibly a Teague/Korver deal.

I've been reading your clutchfans thread and find it hilarious. First, we aren't in the same situation as MN with Kevin Love. Dragic actually likes playing for Phoenix and hasn't demanded a trade lol. He picked us in UFA once (and whine all day about your precious player option but he took less money to come to Phoenix given some other offers, was drafted here, and probably isn't looking to go back to the franchise that wanted to pay Jeremy Lin more) and there's no reason to think he won't again. Besides, we can negotiate with him before anyone else and would have the cap space to ensure he stays.

Second, Terrence Jones and a first is a crap offer. All of your posters know it too because they throw that out there for just about every rumored player there is. We already have a better PF in Markieff and only 1 team in the entire league has as many firsts as us in the next few drafts. The truth is that our teams are bad trade matches. You could offer your entire team outside Harden and Howard and I, and most fans, wouldn't be happy with moving Dragic for it. Teams don't just give away all-nba players for a backup PF, who was arguably the worst defensive starting PF in the league last year, and a late first just because they have good players at the same position.

Third, we start 2 PGs, so signing Thomas doesn't mean we aren't planning on keeping them. People said that last year and we kept both Dragic and Bledsoe and they were awesome together. By winshare they were the best backcourt in the NBA aside from GS, and they are certainly that now with Thomas as well. You have to evaluate the roster given it's a 2 PG system instead of a 1 PG 1 SG system. Teams have 4 rotation players between the 1 and 2. Phoenix has the same (Bledsoe, Dragic, Thomas, Green) when you look at it properly through that lense. Via your fan base's view, then yes Dragic did play "SG" primarily, but really it's a 2 PG system, and not only was he not unhappy with it, but he had his best year ever. Ennis was not brought in to play immediately. That pick makes sense as a team that is taking BPA because they have 3 firsts in the draft and 5-6 others in the next 2 drafts.

Fourth, when Bledsoe and Dragic were healthy, we had a top 4 record in the West. No reason to think that couldn't happen next year, so this whole late lottery BS is just that.

Fifth, the cap is expected to climb to 80 mil in 2 years, so paying $31-35 mil for the best backcourt in the league isn't that unreasonable.

Sixth, McDonough is not a moron. He didn't draft Ennis or sign Thomas so that he would be forced to accept a crap trade for his All-NBA player. If PG minutes was the issue your fan base makes it out to be, he would've simply drafted a poor defensive PF in the first place instead of longing for Terrence homeless-stomp Jones.

It still somehow rages on. Apparently we're looking to give Dragic away for nothing. Been going on for weeks and already missed supposed "deadlines" from the "insiders", but hey, dreaming is free. We should start our own threads with Howard for Plumlee and a late first.
