Reports are saying that the 76ers are the team that would take Lin from Houston and use him at the SG spot.

SportsTalkZak is based out of Indy, and its not a new troll account, it was opened in 2011.

I dont know how the 3way would work, or if its even a 3 way or just Indy talking to Us and Boston about obtaining a PG (Dragic or Rondo). Seems like if they lose Stephenson then they want to upgrade their PG spot, and who can blame them.

I sent that tweet to gambo. He retweeted it after I sent it so it's news to him.

Lol I really wasn't advocating that deal, I was just saying... it makes the most sense, financially. Geez. Like I would trade Dragic for just anyone.

I was going to say.. usually I agree with Qwigglez!

yeah that deal would single handedly change my opinion of this suns regime... simply horrible. Now Paul George that's a different story. I love Goran but if he netted us George I'll drive him to the airport ;)

Thought this was interesting...

Yep. Knew there must be stats out there to support it. My biggest beef with the MoBros is their selfish play. And if you exclude passes to each other, you might exclude about half their passes, and maybe 2/3 of their assists.

Of course, I know I'll look the other way when TJ Warren puts up similar stats. I guess it bothers me with the MoBros in part because so much of it is high-post action, which is a great spot from which to rack up assists. Warren will get a lot his points by working off the ball. But now I'm just rambling.

Oh. Gerald's on there too. Huh.

There are lies, damn lies and statistics. This is one of those "statistics" that fall into that category. It is worthless.

I don't know if I'd call it worthless, but the list doesn't necessarily mean anything negative. Most of those guys' jobs are to catch and shoot....so what does someone compiling the list expect?

Basically Melo wants a max deal and the Bulls can't offer it. I don't think the Rockets can either unless they drop Lin and perhaps an Eastern Conference team will help facilitate that. Mavs definitely can, but they need a lot of help.
If Lebron is truly interested in the Suns, and gets Melo on board, and they both sign max contracts. Look out!

Stop already. Melo has no interest in the Suns and the Suns have no interest in Melo outside if it is a precondition to Lebron. Mavs cannot offer a max deal to anyone with the limited cap space they have.

That's what I figured. Hinkie always doing his buddy Morey a favor....first with Royce White, now this.

I think they have to reach a certain salary cap number by the start of the season, and trading for a huge expiring like Lin is a win-win for them. Most likely get a draft pick too.

There is a salary floor, but you know what the penalty is if you are under it? The players on the team divvy it up the difference (in relation to their contracts I assume) so basically they get raises.

When you create a worthless stat and label the players "checkers" this is negative. It is also complete BS. BWG you are a little to kind to this kind of nonsense. Tutti in Goodfellow's said "we got to toughen this kid up."

Yeah, i remember reading somewhere that they set the floor for the NBA last season and if they were at the bottom again they would have some fines.

Don't know how it all technically works but I think that's the basic point.

That's a good point. It doesn't state if the guy had an open shot or not. If you get the ball 80 percent of the time while open....then you should shoot it 80 percent of the time!

That would be.... just phenomenal. I would trade everyone on our roster excluding Bledsoe/Len to take Paul George. :)

Take it with a grain of salt. I dont see how they would give up on George this early, even if he did ask to be traded.

It would take both Bledsoe and Goran, at the minimum.
