Don't get the hate on Barron, he played terrific defense and boxed out like crazy. Hedo played really well, Dudley was in GOD-mode, Hill's jumper was way off but managed to get >20 pts and a decent amount of rebounds, jrich didn't even get a chance to get it going, nash was superb until the 4th quarter, frye was good, warrick+jchill+dragic = meh.

agreed 100%

the whistles were killing us at crucial times, took us out of the flow and 30-31 from the Free Throw line def. hurt us.

That is what I expect from Portland refs, hell, the fans boo EVERYTHING!!!! It is hard to watch anyone play there because the fan beg and whine about every call and non call. They work on the refs for the whole game. We got 2 games at home against them, that will put us 3 games ahead of them in the standings. I don't even sweat losing in LA, Utah and Por; those are the worst officiating stadiums in the NBA!!

i hear ya man i get it refs make mistakes especially in basketball but come on if you are gonna call girly touchy fouls on one end then call the blatant ones on the other end. dudley had an awesome double team on LMA in the corner right by the suns bench and LMA extends his arm elbows duds in the chest and continues to play.. the game was VERY close at that time i believe.

all i know is when i step out of my final exam on friday at around 10 PM i better hear that the suns clobbered the crap out of the Blazers.

Barron is worse than Collins on offense, but he is very effective on defense. I can't wait to get lopez back. If we don't play Clark, I could care less about us losing. I think we deserve what we get. Warrick is limited, Chill is limited, Hedo is limited, and Barron is limited. Clark can't be that bad; of course we will never know because he doesn't play, and when he does, he looks good. See the Orl and Indy game. I am not going off of last year's play anymore.

But hey, we are 11-10. We definitely don't want to lose that eighth seed.

I'm starting to see it's going to be feast or famine with Warrick. One monster game then disappear for 2 - 3 games. Unless he is in a certain offensive situations where Nash can spoon feed him PnR then he is below average.

We get the worst in Utah, but then again, so does everybody else.

The reason we lost wasnt the ref's, it was the players.

I so hate seeing the ref's get the blame for the losses and never get the credit for the wins.

the players did lose this game. they are paid to figure things out and thus far they havnt figured it out. I really dont like to see this season considering they are at best a 500 team.

They need to make a trade before the trade deadline and Hedo needs to be a piece of any trade made for a big. I don't care if they have to give him away for free but just get him the **** out of here now. He does not work with what we have and he effects both Nash and Dragic in negative ways when he is on the court. Sarver this is your **** fault and you need to correct it. Getting him in the first place was dumb just further shows you are a brainless **** idiot. :banghead:

Its never a good sign when Steve Nash is our leading scorer. That is an indication of lazyness and in-efficientcy on our part, which forced Nash to shoot the ball more.

Yeah it was clearly Hedo's fault

Do you trolls even watch the game or just complain because you see the box score and its not that impressive?

wow... Brandon Roy sure looks like a shadow of his former self. anyone else notice that? I was at the game when he dropped 50 on us. 2 years ago the Blazers future looked brighter than most NBA teams... they still have some nice young players, but i'm pretty sure Roy and Oden aren't gonna be anything special now.

Earl Barron is kind of frustrating on offense, but whoever said that he was worse than Jarron Collins on offense is just wrong. Collins couldn't even get a shot off... and he didn't really grab rebounds either. he just kind of... wasted space. Barron is a huge upgrade over Collins IMO. Also, his stats aren't great, but when was the last time Camby didn't have double digit rebounds against us? (neither did Aldridge). It'll be nice to have Lopez back tho. Playing him and Frye together should be a good combo.

I won't use the refs as an excuse, because we did still have our chances there. But 5 fouls in the first 3 minutes of the 4th quarter is pretty ridiculous. Out of the 28 fouls the suns committed, 22 of them were on our starters. Out of the 21 fouls the blazers committed, only 9 were on their starters. That impacts the game big time. And the 6th foul on Frye actually made me jump out of my seat. whatever. Not excuses, just some stats that make you go :o

I am no troll and second I am not blaming Hedo for the loss tonight but he is not doing enough. But the real reason he needs to be traded is because he is good at facilitating the offense. Nash does it with the starters and supposedly Goran Dragic does it coming of the bench so what happens when Hedo plays with these two he is going to naturally want to facilitate the offense but that is what the point guards are already doing so he messes with Goran and Nash when he is out their but more so Goran Dragic he needs to know that it is his job to facilitate the ball and not Hedo's. So it has come to we either keep Hedo and trade Goran or Hedo goes and I like Goran Dragic so that unfortunately leaves Hedo on the short end of the stick.

+1

And ffs we need set rotations. Players should be gelling by now, but that ain't happening cos we are changing lineups game to game.
(I know Robin's injury is the reason and we have too many 3's but still.. just remember last season, we always knew who is gonna check in, when and for how long.. oh yeah, good ol' times  )
