The only good thing about this whole Morris situation is that we're finally trending again on the General NBA Discussion section

Not gonna lie, there's quite a few really funny posts that take some of the frustration out of this mess. My favorite probably:

They should be the Moron brothers not the Morris'.

Idiots.

They've been given all that talent, size and skill and they beat up some 36yr old dude? Ridiculous.

Then they drive off in a Rolls Royce Phantom...ever so subtle...

I don't think I want two people this dumb playing for this team, it sends a bad example to the rest of the league!

According to InLenWeTrust, Keef didn't participate in the beating, but I agree that getting into a fight is stupid, regardless of the reason. Even dumber when you have a lot of money and can be easily sued, and recognized.

But it's tough to field a team which doesn't have stupid players. I still remember Amare saying in a press conference that he was checking into the game, and that's why he left the bench. It forced both Raja and D'Antoni shaking their heads in their press conferences. JRich speeding with an unbuckled child in the back seat. Kidd slapping his wife over frenchfries. And then a ton of drug charges. Mustof killing his wife. Rex Chapman charges are insane. And that's just the Suns.

From what InLen said his roommate witnessed, I doubt these charges stick. And if they don't, I could see a counter suit from the Morris brothers.

Either way, it will be tough to trade them until this all blows over. But just like the other dumb players, we end up trading them.

If I am correct you are the one that initially broke this story in January. I questioned the legitimacy of your claim at the time and wanted to see it reported in a police report. Well you obviously had the inside scoop as you suggested.

Thanks for breaking the story when you did. It is just remarkable that this has been kicked under the rug until the regular season ended. I know the police report says that the were interviewing lots of folks and that was the major hold up in filing charges, but the timing is still skeptical at best.

I would be shocked if the Twins are part of our opening day roster.

In the NFL I think the Twins would be suspended immediately just due to the charges being filed, what will the NBA's stance be?

He knew the story because one of his roommates was a main witness.

Has there been any comments from the 'Babbler' ? I anticipate the standard, 'NoComment' comment. Would love to have someone ask McDuh..., 'Again, who are/were the best two players on the Suns?' Could the FelonyBrothers be donning a new orange uni ?

Meanwhile Dragic is eating popsicles and cotton candy while preparing for the next playoff game.

I suppose this will be a fitting ending to this yrs saga. Really, would there be any surprise to see Sarver and Co just sweep it all out the door... Bled/Tuck/and the MoGoons... not that Bled has done anything wrong, but it has been my feeling all along, his deal/negotiation was a bad taster for both and carried with it a future trade promise.

I accept Gino...could be a hot ticket to score though.... I'll be checking stub hub. ;-)

Obviously there is going to be contradicting eye-witness testimony. In a grand jury prosecutors run the show. They cherry pick their witnesses so that the case can go to trial. The defense is not allowed to speak or present witnesses. ILWT's roommate will almost certainly be called as a witness for the defense.

There is no way this is going anywhere. I just don't see it. Markieff will get off completely, and Marcus may get a minor assault charge. Just watch.

Amare/JRich wasn't the sharpest tool in the shed but he was surrounded with very high bball IQ guys like Steve, Raja, Diaw and KT. But then the guy's you've listed were only a minority of the players we've had in recent Suns history. The issue is right now, we have a lot of low bball IQ guys on our team and a number of them are high usage decisions makers.

I don't think we need to trade all of them, I think we need to trade some of them for high bball IQ guys

"We are disappointed to learn that Marcus and Markieff Morris have been charged," Babby said. "This is a serious matter, and we will treat it as such. However, at this time, we think it is most appropriate to continue to monitor the legal process as it unfolds before responding further."

Oh and RDG and ginoflops, both of you guys owe an apology to In Len We Trust.

He kept telling you that this happened and both of you kept squashing it saying its a stupid rumor and that DA would never charge and all that.

Not to mention the bashing you guys gave him DESPITE Kerrsed (moderator) even telling you guys that his sources confirmed what ILWT said.

ILWT, remember this time for the next time people wanna get on your back accusing you of lying or anything like that.

The thing I can't get my head around is the siding for Kieff. The situation is indefensible no matter how much or little you were involved in the actual beating. You're an NBA pro, you're supposed to never even get close to these situations. He deserves every bit of the charges if he's going to commit some premeditated grade-A stupidity.

We can't just trade the Morris twins, they don't have positive trade value.

We're likely gonna have to attach at least one of the Heat picks to dump them. But quite frankly, I think it's worth it.

Think about it, do you want players like Warren, Goodwin, Len and whoever we get in the draft this season to be around players like the Morris twins?

Just today I realized that  .... was at a vegas sports book and was looking for Miami's line... Basically I shut down the NBA the last 4-5 weeks. About all I follow anymore is the Suns... and with the going ons here, it was nauseating to witness.

I would think at least one of these mistake prone Bros will be moved. Seems Marcus has anger/frustration issues. So much of this depends on the trial, if there is ever one. Best thing we can hope for is closure and soon.

And Miami likely ends up benefitting from not making the playoffs because their pick this year is protected top 10 and they are in the 10th slot, so unless Indiana, us, Utah or OKC lucks out and gets a top 3, they likely end up with a guy like Stanley Johnson.

I still like their contracts. 13m for 20 points off the bench. If they get traded it'll be for character/behaviour.
