Taj would be a good fit coming off the bench, he'd be a great backup for someone like...Kevin Love!

If the Suns are sick of the MoBros and hellbent of shipping them out, then getting Taj Gibson would not be bad. I would like more talent coming back, but sometimes you just cut your loses and get the best deal you can. I would be at peace with this trade.

Tobias Harris would be playing a lot of 4 if he was with the Suns.

hmmmm, Len-Love-Taj as the FC combo for our teams has a good ring to my ears.

Another crazy idea what do you guys think it would take to get Tobias and Oladipo? Maybe something along the lines of
Dragic, Green, Warren, Miles, and picks
For
Harris, Oladipo

Now that would put a huge smile on my face for a long long time.

Taj a a small PF at 6'8" and is pretty light in weight. He has been a bench player most of his career. He came off the bench behind Carlos Boozer, and now comes off the bench behind Pau Gasol. Taj is like Markieff. He is not a difference maker as a starter, but he does well as a 6th man.

He's 6'10 and has 7'4 wingspan
I wouldnt call it small by any means.

He isnt bulked up, but he's pretty strong. Really tough to work with him in the post.

Sunsdeuce wrote:This isn't a rumor. But obviously this is what the Bulls media/fans think right now.

In Phoenix, the Bulls could go after Goran Dragic. Dragic has been mentioned as a player that is on the trading block and would be a wing player the team could start. He would be inserted into the starting lineup as a shooting guard and Jimmy Butler would move over to the three. Niko would be the first big off of the bench and Mike Dunleavy would then take a role coming off of the bench. This could be a possibility for the Bulls if they are looking to move Taj.

So now it's Goran for Taj? I would not support that at all? Now Goran + PJ Tucker for Jimmy Butler I would be all over.

I was off by an inch.

Basketball Reference has him at 6'9" and 225. 7'4" reach? I am a little bit skeptical as Len's reach is 7'4" as well.
Taj is by no means a bad player...not at all. I just don't see him as much (if any) of an upgrade over Markieff. If we measure high character though, then Taj wins by a mile.

If both twins are being swapped for Gibson it would make sense. Save a little bit more dough so giving Dragic an extension is more doable plus more time for Wright and Warren going forward.

Depending on what website you look at his height ranges from 6'8 to 6'10. But his is alittle slim to battle the bulkier power forwards. He usually has a hard time with players that out weigh him.

But like cutter said if the Suns are trying to cut ties with the Morris twins than ok, I guess.

I actually think getting the brothers away from each would help tremendously. I honestly believe marcus is a bad influence on markeiff. I think the best and simplest solution is to trade marcus. I just think marcus has turned into a bad apple and bad influence.

I'd like:
Dragic, Plumlee > T-Jones, Capela
Morrii (+ IT?) > Taj, McBuckets

Bled / Ennis
(Zoran if he's still here) Bullock / Archie
Tucker (less minutes as we go on) / Warren / McBuckets
Taj / Jones
Len / Wright / Capela

Taj could be the vet leader of the team until Bledsoe grows into that role. A young team with a high ceiling.

I generally look at predraft measuraments by draftexpress.com (http://www.draftexpress.com/profile/Taj-Gibson-1164/)
He's a little bit taller than Kieff and has 3" difference in reach.
This would be huge against Z-Bo/LaMarcus

For some reason it has become a given that the twins are a package deal, they cannot be traded separately. I'm not sure if this is fact or fiction, but if one goes, it seems they both need to go.

Dragic & Dragic for Gibson, Snell and a pick, or Gibson and McDermott. It makes sense for a very simple reason: Gibson's under contract. I'm pretty sure Dragic will leave us this summer. But the Bulls? He might stick there. Plus they're contending.

I don't love it or hate it. But I kinda like it. We're suddenly very big up front, though I worry we'd lose Brandan Wright.

This basically is the problem in a nutshell. Markieff always had an edge about him in his first 2 years, but when we brought Marcus in the hard edge seemed to double down and together they have become basically out of control with their aggression.

How much you want to bet that Marcus was the instigator in the assualt case. It just seems to be his forte.

Anyway yes, they need to be split up just like you do with 9 year old brothers and sisters that act up. You separate them. But in this case you perminantly separate them.
