Re: Official Trade Thread: The Block Is Hot!!
Just watched the Warriors-Mavs game and it was weird...both Dallas and Golden State had their starting centers (Bogut & Chandler) on the court in crunch time in the 4th QTR.
Huh, who woulda thought...

Kerr was willing to blow up the team for Curry and rightfully so. He will go down as a top-25 player all time.

What did Dragic retweet? I don't see it and it doesn't show in the forum if it's supposed to be embedded.

Re: Official Trade Thread: The Block Is Hot!!
Curry and Thompson are the "types" of player that can put up huge numbers points wise though... sure they are excellent scorers, but when on fire... their ability to shoot 3pters give them a huge boost.
I wouldnt bet on him finishing top 25...
Elite big men and extreme/insane competitive wingmen (Kobe, Jordan etc) are what it takes to be top 30... Curry will or should be a top 100 player eventually and if he stays healthy though lol.

I cant imagine what would be his numbers playing 'solo'.
Maybe some 30/8/8. He's really that good.
8 rebounds? no way,
I think as a solo... 27/7/5 on lower FG%... he relies so much on explosiveness... which is a short term thing for his size. Iverson atleast stopped dunking to preserve his legs... and Iverson relied more on insane skills and finesse.

He has some type of love affair with the rockets.
This is kinda disturbing.
Maybe he is bringing Hardin to the Suns

Wishful thinking there Boxy.
SHAZAM!
Suns traded Mikal Bridges, Cam Johnson, Jae Crowder and 4 1st round picks and a swap so some Vegas Bookies would like us.

Omg no, I'd rather miss the playoffs 5 more years than having to watch Harden 82+ times a year...I can barely stand watching the few Rockets games each year. I don't know if there would be any one other player in the league I could say that about. The only ones coming somewhat close are Howard and Beverley. Thank god I am not a Rockets fan, I think I'd quit basketball and try to really get into football instead

Lol get real. Should be top 100 eventually? He's already a top-5 in the league and will likely win an MVP(s) and championship(s).
His position has nothing to do with it.

Um, I don't see anything where he retweeted the Rockets video. Goran's last activity was in January.

I'd say top 25 is bold. I mean, if he could sustain his production, sure he could be up there. But MVP awards and championships aren't so easy to get and longevity is hard to maintain. I hope he continues, because that performance tonight was fun to watch.

Remember Gilbert Arenas was also meant to be a superstar, longetivity is a HUGE factor in finishing amongst the greats.
Curry is amazing, I agree with that, but to me, he will need to do this for a long time to be top 25...
Allen Iverson was GREAT for a decade, 26ppg 8apg 2.5spg, MVP, arguably started the "combo PG era", lead a team of defenders to the playoffs a lot of years and made the finals. Yet we dont ever mention him amongst the top 40 of all time....
Curry's legacy will be told in the playoffs...

Having a top 100 career is no insult. Considering he's mostly a one way player and undersized at that, top 100 all time would be quite an achievement. Just to join that group I think he'd have to play at his current level for almost another decade and I don't know if his body will hold up for that. I agree he's probably already a top 5 current player and with Lebron and Durant having off years I like his chances of an MVP but there have been probably 30 players that have won multiple MVP awards and I'd imagine more than a hundred players have made the All NBA First Team. Being one of the 100 best of the 4000 some players that have played in this league is pretty special IMO.

Steve Nash was a one way player too and is considered top 25 by some.
Same with guys like Bill Russel, Charles Barkley etc.

Re: Official Trade Thread: The Block Is Hot!!
Suns get-
David West
Pacers get-
IT/PJ Tucker
I really don't want to get rid of IT, but I do want to open up playing time for TJ Warren. This would also open up playing time for Ennis. Have Warren start alongside West for a couple of games, and I bet his confidence shoots thru the roof. Warren has really good scoring instincts and moves off the ball well, this could be easy buckets for him with Dragic and Bledsoe handling the rock. We maintain that spark off the bench with Green and the Morris bros. West can also be that veteran leader to guide the rest of our players.
Doubt the Pacers do it, but this would be nice.

I like it. West is a smart veteran player who doesn't tolerate bull s**t. Just what we need on this team.

No way is Steve Nash one of the 25 greatest players in the history of the game. Maybe there are people that believe it but there are people that still think the world is flat. Nash had two tremendous years and several pretty good seasons but he'd have needed half a dozen more great years to be top 25 IMO. I don't understand the Barkley and Russell comment? Putting Bill there makes it seem like you're joking but then you add Barkley who is much more like Nash than he is Russell. Barkley was a great rebounder but the rest of his game was offense only. Barkley had a better career than Steve though and I'm not sure he's top 25 either.
