I just follow Woj, Stein, and Coro on twitter. Then have their tweets texted to you. That's how people get threads started so quick. If I don't get a text, I know nothing happened.

Karl wanted to speak with Dragic. He declined and his agent advised the Kings he would under no circumstance resign. After his public comments the Celtics pulled out. Dragic's agent is trying to force his way to the big markets so he can get a five year deal.

I don't think Goran means to be so blunt (probably a culture thing) but he's not seeing the damage he's adding to the situation. If he "cares about the fans" don't talk publicly about the org like this. Keep it between you and management. This is going to damage the Suns brand for a long time, IMO. Sad to see things end like this.

I'm looking forward to this ordeal being over. I'm sure McD and Babby (and maybe even Sarver) will answer questions about what happened.

Sunsdeuce wrote:@Burnsy987: Interesting point RT @xmascarr: i think there's more blame on Bledsoe (camp). His actions put Suns in a spot to get an Isaiah

This is true. Half of me dislikes Bledsoe's on the court play and the other dislikes bledsoe and his crew he hangs with. Bledsoe's off season selfish Bullsh&@& screwed this team up.

A repost but worth considering that it's never just one person's fault for anything. I upped RMcD's blame to 50%, from 40%, and downed Bledsoe's from 25% to 20% and Orlando's from 15% to 10%.

Fault For This Mess Allocation:

1. RMcD's fault (signing Thomas, weird negotiation with Bledsoe, putting together an unbalanced roster) - 50%

2. Eric Bledsoe (no communication during negotiation possibly leading to the IT signing in the first place, hard balling suns for too much money, dominating the ball more this season thinking he's the man) - 20%

3. Orlando Magic (for upsetting Dragic's play by paying Frye way, way waaay too much (PER < 10; no wonder they hate him over there) - 10% (although we don't know how important Frye was to Dragic's success until Dragic or IT go somewhere else)

4. Hornacek (for letting the inmates run the asylum) - 10%

5. IT (complaining about minutes at the start of the season, ball hogging) - 5% (can't blame him for being himself, blame RMcD instead.

6. Dragic (for not being more diplomatic if the Suns have offered to trade IT and he doesn't care and sold them down anyway) - 5% (whatever he does can pretty much be forgiven cause he got shaaafted).

If we can't get anything somewhat solid for Goran, is a sign and trade possible at seasons end or are we the only team that can sign him with Bird rights?

If we decide to deal Thomas, I really hope we keep Green and sign him to an extension. We need a scorer off the bench.

I hate that time machines don't exist.

Dragic has been extremely Unprofessional.
As if the Suns cheated on him, like a marriage affair... it seems personal.
Maybe they promised to give his brother a chance, or he figured out they lured his brother to use it to low ball him or something... I dunno. But he is bitter it seems.... there have been other players who have been shafted worse yet they didnt act like this.

Dragic got paid 7.5 million a year and has been promoted by the Suns as their face the last 2 seasons, I'm sure he was looked after. Thomas and Bledsoe being signed are NOT personal attacks on him.. but simply business related that McD had to get talent on the roster.

Wow, so what if we don't deal him? He's stuck with a 4 year deal?
And if he only wants NY or LA, there's really no incentive on our part to deal him there. We'd get nothing in return.
Instead, he'll remain a Sun and either get boo'ed hard every night, or cheered with the hope he'll change his mind.

lmfao Lakes fan convinced that Boston is racist and no black player wants to play for them "But to win in this league, Dragic will need a black star. It's just how this league works unless if you're Dirk who is the only guy to do it since the 80s. He knows coming here that his role will be the point running the show. But he also knows damn well that lets say we don't draft a wing, (Marc ain't coming) that we are going after a Monroe or Tobias type to build with this summer and then big game hunting for KD and another talent this coming year. Boston can't do that because their market isn't one any black A or B level guy will ever sign on to freely in a market."

I hope wherever they trade Dragic to, they also send IT with him. "You may know your fellow new backcourt mate.....it's IT!" Cue IT coming out from behind a curtain and pan to Goran's horrified face. I'd pay good money to see this.

I'll repost this again:

To everyone who keeps saying that Dragic making these comments is unprofessional, Goran and his camp had already complained to McD throughout the season in private and yet a move was never made so now they went public to see if that will make a difference with the Suns front office:

While that meeting might be perceived as an act of brinksmanship on the part of Dragic, sources told Sporting News that, over the course of the year, Dragic’s camp has registered its complaints with Suns general manager Ryan McDonough on more than one occasion. But the Suns have not acted, and Dragic’s faith in the team has dwindled.

Wants a big market but says no to the Celtics. So basically he only wants to go to the Knicks/Lakers...

The fact he only wants a big market leads me to believe this is more than what happened behind the scenes. I get he wants his own team but he could go elsewhere, where teams are closer to winning and they need guards, and still get paid.

Whatever....I just want this to end. I don't want to help LAL out so just hang onto him and make it even more awkward until the season is over.

If this is the case he is killing any trade value, let him sit on the bench the rest of the year and watch and see how his free agency looks then.
