Is Nash sabotaging the Lakers from the inside, stealing their lottery picks and then bolting and coming back to Phoenix for one more run???

Anyway....this is some fun consolation prize so far.

Nash is the new Suns GM, this is why Blanks has not been extended yet , it all makes sense, follow the money :o

Nash then retires join Suns FO as GM... Haha. I heard he had a part with convincing Lakers to pull trade with Suns with those picks.

Since the Lakers traded their 2017 pick to Orlando all protection on the 2015 pick to the Suns was removed.

This is amazing. Even with Dwight they were losing and had putrid defense. Nt to jump the gun or anything but they are digging a deep hole. I love it so much.

Wizards beat OKC :o
New Orleans beats Spurs

The hard core tank teams are slowly catching the Suns. Not sure if the Wiz will end with a better record, but I can see the Hornets (Pelicans?), Lolcats and Cavs all having a better record by end of season. Suns could very conceivably end with the second worst record this year.

Dwight is out for 1-2 weeks, Pau indefinitely... Kobe & Steve will be completely worn down by the all star break. I don't wanna jinx it but I think they'll miss the playoffs by 5-6 games.

The Bucks ditch Skiles? You know our team is in tank mode when all these coaches lose their jobs, and Gentry still has one.

I highly doubt that. Cats and Cavs are flat out horrible. Hornets are the only team that might have some upside with Eric Gordon and Anthony Davis, but Davis is still too raw. Suns just have better veteran leadership which will end up getting more wins.

That's how Skiles rolls...dude comes in and gets the team to play for a few seasons, and then immediately wears out his welcome. Guy can coach a team for 2-3 years tops before they kick him out.

Lakers lose!

Good News For The Suns.

The Lakers have to go 30-18 to reach 45 wins and that probably won't be enough to get them in. The Lakers are in big trouble and I think they play the Spurs & Thunder next, the Lakers are in big trouble and I love it.
Go Suns!!!

Yeah.

The only thing that can save them is...
lakers go 20 game winning streak.. Or stitch up a couple of 10+ game winning streak... And 2 of Blazers, Wolves, Rockets simply go 0.400 for the rest of the season.

Lakers @ Spurs tomorrow on a b2b without Dwight or Pau. Assuming that's a L they'd be 15-20 with OKC on Fri. After that they're schedule gets much easier and Pau/Dwight should be back.

Maybe a stupid question but which team will join our division then? Will they put Seattle in or move them back into the Northwest Division?

It's actually a good question. I would think they would want them back in the NW to renew their rivalries but divisional rivalries aren't as big as they are in football.

Honestly they really should do something to shake up the divisions. You know things are screwed when OKC is in the NW division.

Although it would make sense to rearrange the divisions based on location, divisions don't really matter. Often times you play teams in other divisions just as much (or more) than teams in your own division. The only thing it impacts is a guaranteed top 4 seed if you win your division (but normally if your record is good enough to win your division, you would be a top 4 seed anyway). And this guarantee of a top 4 seed doesn't really even have much meaning either because a 5 seed can still end up with home court advantage if they DID have a better record than the division winning 4 seed.

http://basketball.realgm.com/wiretap/225502/Kings_Finalizing_Sale_To_Seattle_Group
e Sacramento Kings are finalizing an agreement to sell to an ownership group from Seattle, according to sources.

The Seattle ownership group is led by Chris Hansen and Steve Ballmer.

Hansen's group has a shovel ready arena project that will be built near Safeco Field. The arena should be ready for the 15-16 NBA season.

The total cost of the arena will be approximately $500 million and Yahoo! reports the sale price will be for a similar amount. A $500 million sale price would be a new NBA record, beating the $450 million paid for the Golden State Warriors in 2010.

The Seattle group hopes to relocate the team to Key Arena for the 13-14 season.

The Kings relocated from Kansas City to Sacramento in 1985.

The Maloof family had previously tried to relocate the Kings to Anaheim and Virginia Beach. The Maloofs will retain a very small ownership stake, but have no significant input in the running of the franchise.

So Washington state gets legal weed AND an NBA franchise? They are turning it around!

So will they be the Sonics again?very interesting stuff. I feel bad for KJ, he has been working his butt off to keep the team in Sac. But I feel better for the people of Seattle.

I think the playoffs should be changed to the top sixteen teams in the league. Also I think the team max should be eighteen players. I think the DLeague could be used better.
