I'm bummed Montrezl Harrell decided to stay at Louisville. Kid is a beast, would have loved to develop him at PF.

This should come as no surprise. The Suns haven't exactly had much luck when it comes to coin flips........

Lakers exploring option to trade their lottery pick…

That tells me…
If they don't get one of the big "3", they will consider to get "ready" players to go for one last run with Kobe and carry the next core after Kobe.

Suns may have some assets..

They are trying to tempt Minnesota in trading Love. I wonder if MInnesota would think about it if the Lakers got the top pick.

How great to be a Suns fan again. In a matter of a cpl weeks our draft picks from Washington fell a couple spots (as both brooklyn and charlotte could have easily finished ahead of them), and of course Miami decided to give away their first place to Indy as well... :noway:

Here is hoping for a top 3 pick and getting the 14th from Minny.

if the lakers are willing to deal their pick for love the wolves would be idiots not to do it.

Heck if the lakers are willing to deal that pick I'd be all for putting together a package of picks and players for it.

He's get the Korver comp a lot, but I think he's more Klay Thompson. He can definitely get to the rim off the bounce, and he's an excellent passer (most underrated part of his game). I'd take him in a heart beat with our pick, he'd be a great fit in the system.

Here is something interesting.....

So last night I was at Whiskey Row in Scottsdale and I met Doug McDourmott there. He basically said that he was in town visiting friends. I then told him good luck with all of his pre-draft day workouts.

Then I said I hope to see him in a PHX uniform next season. He then stated that he had a MEETING WITH THE SUNS TOMORROW (he goes, "I am gonna be hungover as ****") haha. Nice guy-----crazy he is already meeting with our team this early.

I just thought it was a cool story to share.

Doug McDermott would be suitable for Suns needs...
Sharp shooting SF with great fundamentals...

I don't think we need that but I'm not a big McDermott guy. If he's at #18 I'd be okay with it but prefer McDaniels there. I think we have enough firepower on the wing.

New mock from CBS. Some interesting predictions. Gordon going 5th, Smart slipping. Has us taking James Young, Kyle Anderson and Bogdan Bogdanovich.

Exum would go to any team that will pay him most and surround him with the right players.
He ain't forcing his way to lakers, teams have learnt from Kobe.... Charlotte and a few other teams gifting Lakers a superstar, by buying into the threaths.

Also suns need front court and big wing help... I'd go all in for Vonleh or Gordon.

Saric would be my third choice.

As usual we need to draft the best player available. I can't see any of our three rookie picks supplanting our starters or backups next year. I'm predicting McD sticks with the trend of long (big wingspan), athletic, fast players at any position.

I agree, although I'd just add that he'll also be on the phone with a number of people seeing if there is a trade for a starting caliber player. Should be interesting to see who falls, it could either prompt a trade or we just get a really talented player unexpectedly.
Suns traded Mikal Bridges, Cam Johnson, Jae Crowder and 4 1st round picks and a swap so some Vegas Bookies would like us.

Would you take Marcus Smart if he fell to 14? Seems like he could wreak havoc defensively off the bench with Goodwin/Green, Morris twins and Len.

Or possibly be trade bait for later. He would obviously probably be the BPA if he fell, but it might hurt outside shooting with second unit unless we went really small with Smart/Goodwin/Green/Morris twins
