I would stop being a Sixers fan if I heard my owner say this ****.

What a bunch of pathetic, wretched garbage from a group of losers who will remain losers so long as that mentality exists within their organization.

Thank goodness the Suns played their asses off night in, night out this year. That's what a class organization does.

I agee, suns might not have a championship even with so many playoff appearances but at least we won't stoop to that level. We must be grateful that our team don't constantly have playoff droughts like others I won't mention. What we thought would be a 3-5 year rebuilding process surprised everyone and we won't have to wait that long and should compete in no time. Love this team :)

Awfully suspect that he would hit the only Warriors fan in that area...Pretty hilarious if you ask me.

It's their strategy... They were sick of being a treadmill team.

Suns 2013-2014 season was supposedly a 20 win season also.
And Suns could be losing for a while also.

Suns lucked out by Green, Plumlee, Bledsoe meshing well... As well as Dragic improving a notch.

People credit Hornacek a lot but the suns bright future and competitive state is all McD....

One day if 76ers plan works,,. Fans and The media as well as GMs would say 76ers GM was a genius... If not, everyone will simply think they just had a really bad season and they cleared their salary cap well.

I won't think he's a genius. I'll think they're losers. Because they're losers. And they're proud, admitted losers. And there's no place in professional sports or respect for any team who's a proud, admitted loser.

But the plan won't work anyway. It's designed not to work. Losing begets losing. That team will be mired in worthlessness for the foreseeable future. They have to perform miracles to even get back UP to the lowly 8 seed in the Eastern Conference.

And the difference between the Sixers and the Suns is that the 2013-2014 Suns were "supposedly" a 20-win team but they weren't. They were a highly competitive, entertaining team that would have been a lock for the playoffs and maybe could have had home-court advantage had their second best player not been injured for 30 games.

You can't say the Suns "lucked out" by Green, Plumlee, and Bledsoe meshing well AND say that credit for the bright future and competitive state is "all" Ryan McDonough. If it was "all" Ryan McDonough that means he had the foresight to field such a team because he knew they'd be successful together and that's not "lucked out" at all. And it's *incredibly* disrespectful to Jeff Hornacek to say that the Suns' bright future and competitive state is "all" Ryan McDonough. My goodness.

Agree with your sentiment +1. Also, the 76ers were not a treadmill team. In the 2011-12 season, they were a up and coming playoff team (2nd Round) with some good young talent and quality head coach. They made a trade with Orlando, Denver, and the Lakers in which they gave up Iggy and Vucevic for Bynum, who never played a single game for them. In retrospect, it turned out to be a terrible trade.

If the 76ers become contenders before the Suns, then the media will criticize Sarver for not tanking this past season and that criticism will be a lot worse than any criticism he's gotten in the past for selling picks or whatever.

Anybody in the media with balls enough to criticize Sarver for something done by McD and Horny should have their nuts taken off so us fans don't have to worry about them procreating.

Media will always go for the owners...Steve Kerr hardly ever got any bad publicity from the media when he was here...same with Lance Blanks.

Lillard is so clutch. That's the only thing that he's way better than Dragic at imo.

A lot of the hipster analysts already think he's a genius for making that Holiday trade. But I've always thought that trading someone who is an all star for a rookie (and a later rookie) who could be a bust, is hardly a genius move. It COULD be, with the right picks, but it is a crapshoot. All stars don't really grow on trees. Of course one could argue that Holiday isn't a legit all star and only made it because of a weak in injured eastern conference last year.

But I agree with Burning Heart that losing begets losing. Look at Cleveland. Sacramento. Minnesota. How many high draft picks have these three teams had? Cleveland only got decent once they traded for vets. Same with the Wizards. And what I find funny about Sixers fans is that they think they will be contenders in two years. They will probably be lucky to make the playoffs in four years. The Wizards, with a #1 pick, didn't make it until adding a #2 pick, trading for vets, letting that #1 pick develop for 3 years, etc.

And Washington and Cleveland got #1 picks. Most teams that stink won't be so lucky.

Great end to Memphsis OKC game. Durant makes an impossible 3 point shot and is fouled. OKC just might pull this out.

I'm rooting for the Grizz.

Yeah, just mentioned that in the playoff discussion thread. Amazing sequence. I usually go for Memphis in the playoffs (the last few years at least) but this year I am for OKC. I just don't know if Memphis can beat SA, but I think OKC can.
