Indiana is getting killed by the Grizzlies. They're one of the biggest pretender teams along with Portland.

And Heat getting thumped by New Orleans. The Leastern conference is pathetic. They have ~260 losses against the West while the West has just over 100 losses to the East. Indy would be battling for a playoff spot out West.

Indiana wouldn't make playoffs if they were in the West.

They have a 17-11 record against the West. That would be a .607 winning percentage. Clearly they would be battling for a playoff spot in the West.

Miami and Indy take games off. They're built for the playoffs and both excellent vs the West.

I think if they had to play against the West constantly then they wouldn't have .607 winning percentage.

Playing against the West night in and night out would break em down.

^Agreed

East has been terrible for a long time. Not fair for the good West teams not making the playoffs.

Best 16 teams get in. That's how it should be.

http://www.dougstats.com/13-14LF.html

hottest teams in the east are (last 10 games)

knicks 8-2

NYK @ PHX will be a big game. mark that on your calendar. their next 3 games are CLE, LAKERS, Sactown.

by the time we meet them, they will have an 11-game winning streak!

seems like cavs will upset them. good for us. knicks don't need any momentum fighting for playoffs.
