No. Peja was a pure shooter, Bogdan is more of an all-around player.

Back-to-back award winner, just like Mirotic.

I hope Bogdanovic becomes the real deal. Is he coming over this year or is it going to be next year?

I think I read somewhere that it could be in two years.

I don't think he has an NBA out until 2016 season.

I think we could try to bring him earlier. He'll be 23 in a few months.

I believe after 2016 Bogdanovic will be off the NBA's rookie wage scale and he'll have the option to sign a free-agent contract with Phoenix rather than be on a rookie contract (similar to Mirotic). With the new CBA kicking in, signing as a free agent should be a lot more lucrative than his 1mil per year rookie contract (For comparison: Mirotic signed a 3 year 17mil contract).

It probably helps with buyouts from their current teams, if there is a buyout needed. It seems that many Euro players would get more money either waiting it out in Europe, or going in the second round, where they can negotiate pay better. For example, Goran made as much as Looez did as rookies, even though Looez went 15, and Goran went 46.

Read somewhere that he'll be out for the first few games due to a back injury, which sucks cause it would've been great to see him play against Spain.

wonder why there's no Eurobasket thread, especially considering the slow offseason. Quite a few great games already. Bogdan played well in that upset over Spain though it was really Bjelica show, also Kyrylo Fesenko (played for Jazz for a bit) had a monster game against Lithuania - thought he outplayed Valanciunas (posterized him as well) who had good game himself.
Italian team with their soft defense (Bargnani and co) getting thrashed by Turkey - ton of great dunks.

Bogdanovic with another good game in win against Germany. Was second best scorer on his team with 9 pts, but only 1/7 from 3.
also had 3 boards and 4 assists. Bjelica again won the game for serbia scoring game winner leaving just 0.9 secs on the clock.
